Debi, That's the same predicament I was in. Struggle all week to lose, and then pig out on weekends. My weigh in days are Sundays now. I'm doing alot better this week. How bout you?
Brenda, good to see you again and back to being OP. Have fun at TOPS. I use to go when I was a kid.
JuliaDH, sounds like you're really get yourself and yourself organized. They say that helps with weight loss. You go girl!!
Cyn, did you get any parties booked by hitting the bars?
brandnewme, take it easy and hope you feel better soon.
Catherine, glad to hear you're feeling better.
Annie, don't work too hard!
I'm doing good for the week. Expecting a good weight loss this week when I weigh in tomorrow. I know it's alot of water weight, but it just is great to see the scale moving down instead of up!
Have a great Saturday!
What a fun night we had - DH suggested we go to our "Power and Light District" as KC is hosting NCAA regional tournament. After over 3 hours of exercise this morning we walked our tails off tonight - hope it offsets the half pulled pork sandwich I had. It was so much fun - like a date. I really didn't want to go - I was past the point of exhaustion from clearing the back of our property earlier in the day. Glad he suggested it.
What a super fun day I had. I went to Walmart to get some cheap jeans to wear to work. I really like the Walmart brand for $15 and they look fine on me when I have the right size. I tried them on and I bought 2 size 14 jeans!!! I am kind of excited about that. Jeans in a 14 are such a huge deal for me. After that I came home and we drove up to Silver Mountain and had fun fun snow tubing for about a 1/2 hour becuase it got too melty to continue then we drove to the Indian casino and I won $100. Now we are home and I'm tired but I need to make brownies for church tomorrow. There is a pot luck and I am bringing dessert and a main dish. My SIL is making enchillada cassarole for the main dish.
Becca: So good to see you. Please take care of yourself sweetie.
Catherine: Glad you are feeling a bit better. Hugs.
Debbie: woo hoo to you on being on track. I hope you have a wonderful weight loss.
That is about all the news. I will post a pic or two later on the picture thread from today's outing. Maybe tomorrow.
ANNIE_WOOO HOOOO on size 14s!!!!!!!!! Way to go girl!!!!!
Food has been good. Exercise is still happening...maybe not enough yesterday but some.
Im heading out to my daughters today and help her in her house. She has so many wedding gifts to be washed and homes found for them. It should be a great day!!!
hugs to all and drink your water!!
Kayley, just checked-out your new pics, LOVE the hair colour (knew I would). Like the nose-stud too, how is it now, has it stopped hurting?xxxxx
I weighed in on Friday, a bit fed up at losing 2lbs but it's 9lbs in two weeks & I am enjoying this plan. I am scared in case I get bored with it though, I always start off keen then after 2-4 weeks the boredom/self-sabotage thing seems to creep in. I find that I don't enjoy a glass or three (hic!!) of wine or gin & tonic any more, which is good news on the health/weghtloss front!!!
xxxxxhave a great week-end, it's Mother's Day here in the UK, I actually got a card from my elsest son - though I know his gf bought it, lol, I am grateful though. They all went to a local club for a drink & game of pool, guess who was left to tidy up, hoover & prep/cook the dinner? yep me.
xxxxxxsharon
Last night I went to my friends candle show that she booked at my party. It was a nice relaxing time. After that I came home and went to sleep early like 9pm. So I was back up at midnight cause I could not sleep. I hate when i do that so today my butt will be draggin.
Annie: Whoohoo on those size 14 jeans! psst send me a brownie or 2.
gggirls: Glad you had fun on your date. I love those kind were you really didnt want to go.but you are sure glad ya did once ya get there.
Cyn, sorry you didn't get a good night's sleep. I hate when that happens. Hope today is a a good one for you!
Debi, have fun at your daughters. I love getting new stuff and getting it ready for it's new place!
Carol, sounds like you had a great time and so unexpectedly! Gotta love that guy of yours!
I feel good. I lost 7 lbs this week. Now we get into the meaty part of the fat, but I'm ready!!
Have a great Sunday and don't forget to post your weight on the BLC!!!
Sharon - Thanks! Unfortunately, the dye I got isn't very long-lasting, and I'll need to touch it up in the next couple of weeks. Don't know if I want that color, or something completely different. The nose piercing doesn't hurt at all anymore. I can move it around, and could probably take it out with no problems, but I'm waiting the 6 weeks, like they said.
Congrats on the 9 lbs! That's definitely nothing to sneeze at, so to speak! Keep it up!
Sorry I haven't been around this weekend! It's been pretty busy. Hope you're all doing well!
No wh00shes yet. Just up and down every day. Yes, I'm a daily weigher.
BikerChick went on a short ride yesterday and about froze her toes off! 47F is still a little chily for her. Went for a ride today and it was way better! 55F and no toesicles. Both rides were short, but da tushy needs time to toughen up at the beginning of the season. There was ONE fat stupid Psychosquirrel out today. He stood in road and just stared at me as I huffed and puffed down the street.
yes, Heather, I'll put the minutes in the exercise thread hehe!
RANT ALERT - I posted a 1.75 pound gain on TBL this week. With the exception of last nights half sand and cocktail this has been one of the best weeks I have ever had. Calories have been right at 1500, exercise is back, water is great.
OK - it's posted and over - on with the last week of the challenge.
Annie - honey look at yourself - beautiful as always - size 14 jeans to boot!
Debbie - great job - keep the momentum going this week - challenge is on.
I've had a pretty good weekend. I made french toast this morning (one of my family's favorites) and instead of my usual butter and syrup, I just sliced a banana on top - very tasty! I need to be better about making those substitutions - I use too much "stuff" like butter, mayo, syrup, etc. Tomorrow is weigh in day for me so I hope I see a change!
I'm back from my cousin's -- we took two tons of Stuff to the dump yesterday and got the house cleared for good. I wish weight could be purged this easily.
My mom's cousin, sadly and suddenly, passed away a few months ago, and my mom, sisters and I were his closest family/friends. He was also a pack rat who Loved the dollar store and movies. Why have one vcr/dvd player when you can have three? Why just one dresser and night stand when you can have five in your room, plus a wall of videos? All collecting dust ... It was bad.
I shouldn't talk, though. I keep a pretty tidy house and get rid of old, broken, unused things all the time. Still, I love packing on the servings and keeping it all in my hips, tummy and buzzies. Why have one cookie when I can have twelve? lol. So anyway, we're home, and I'm feeling 'cleansed' and ready for a week of consciousness and moderation.
Glad to see so many of you had a good weekend. I'll have to check out the nose ring pic.
