300+ Amazing August Exercise Thread

  • 40 minutes walking last night = 239 for me

    Group ~ 596 + 40 = 636
  • 95 mins strength training (includes cardio warm-up)

    Group total: 636 + 95 = 731
  • Went swimming for about 3 hours today, I'm going to count 60 minutes of it since I sort of piddlefarted around, too.

    239 + 60 = 299 for me

    Group total ~ 731 + 60 = 791
  • I've been sick the past couple of days, so today was the first day I've been on the bike this week. Not a good start to the month, but I'll do extra to catch up.

    45 minutes / 8.6 miles on the stationary bike

    August: 82/800 minutes - 15.66/150 miles
    July: 756/756 minutes - 138.7/138.7 miles


    Group ~ 791 + 45 = 836
  • 80 min yesterday, weights and some cardio

    Group total ~ 836 + 80 = 916 min
  • 60 minutes gym

    299 + 60 = 359

    Group total ~ 916 + 60 = 976

    You know, this was the thread that kept me motivated even when I wasn't coming to 3FC. I kept my minutes tracked, and now I feel that I'm part of something bigger than me, and it keeps me motivated to keep adding to it because I want to see huge exercise numbers for the group.

    July: 756/756 minutes - 138.7/138.7 miles

    Group ~ 976 + 42 = 1018
  • 60 mins today (30 mins treadmill, 30 mins walk/jog around the pool)

    Group total: 1,018 + 60 = 1, 078

    40 min weights for me yesterday and 60 min elliptical today

    Group total~ 1078 + 100 = 1,178 min

    Group total = 1178 + 53 = 1231
  • Earthshaker - I've been pretty absent myself the past few weeks, but like you I keep logging my minutes. That way I know I'll be back (even if just a little).

  • Hi everyone, just noticed this thread, I started three days ago so I'll put up all those minutes. I don't have a long term minutes goal but I'm trying to do at least 45 min a day.

    8/7 - 75 min - walking
    8/8 - 45 min - walking
    8/9 - 45 min - walking

    Group Total = 1326 + 165 = 1491
  • 60 min cardio today. Probably one of my lamest workouts, though. I got a sharp pain in my abs in the first 5 min on the elliptical. I moved to recumbent bike, which I just don't like as much... went back to elliptical eventually, but never got my HR up. Oh well, at least I did an hour!

    Group total ~ 1491 + 60 = 1551 min
