I have had to get up and dust myself off so many times that I have lost count. You can too.

Have you adjusted your ticker? Just curious. Regardless...you didn't gain back all the weight, most people wait until they gain all plus before they get back on the wagon...don't let it happen. Fight for your health. Pray, meditate, or what ever it is that you do and fight this. YOU CAN! You HAVE to for your health and longevity.

I personally know what it feels like to weigh 300+ pounds and it hurts physically and emotionally, no, it sucks. Please, I beg you, don't go back to that dark place where the light is very far down the tunnel.

Patti - I am in a similar boat. I fell off my wagon and gained back almost 40 pounds in a matter of months. It is actually really scary how quickly I was able to put the weight back on. I am trying to see this as a learning experience and just another part of my journey. Don't be too ashamed of yourself. It happens to a whole lot of people. I think we all go in thinking that it won't be us, but sometimes we have other lessons to learn that make our journey into one that isn’t quite as straight a line as we would like.

Hello there! Welcome back - you're not the only one starting over. This is my first day back, too. I've been in denial for the past several months, some big changes in my household gave me the excuse to go back to my unhealthy eating ways. This morning I stepped on the scale and had the truth stare me in the face. I'd gained back about 30 pounds, now back up to 316, when I swore last year I'd never see the 300s again.

The good thing is we've got this great place filled with great people to come back to, full of support. We can do this!

Please dont feei shame. That shame/guilt is what part of the problem for most of us. Turn ashamed to awareness. We all work togather over and over again. But hey that is how we all get to know eachother. Long term relationships of support.
