The story aired. I could have been more animated--my affect was kind of flat (nerves). But, I didn't look that bad. Not unattractive. Very fat, but not shockingly fat. Last time I was on tv, I was horrified at my appearance. I looked like a balloon ready to explode. Not being horrified this time is a major step in the right direction.

Battle: I am glad you feel better about how you looked on TV...we can be so hard on ourselves!! :hug: Moosegirl: I love, love, love Walmart :love:!! Heather_dw: I know from being on WW that you need to eat the right amount of calories to burn calories...I try to stay at 2000 to burn 2lbs a week. Nancy: I am finding that my tops are getting longer as I am decreasing in the "boobage" area...which makes me happy because I wont wear a top that doesn't cover my belly. I just have to make sure I am not flashing too much!! :yikes: Debbie: I have the WATP video that does a 1 mile then a 2 mile with the ball weights. I think it is pretty old because I am usually concentrating on her really weird eyebrows instead of what she is saying. :dizzy: I haven't done it in a long while as my foot problems are still abounding. I am going to have Doug find my Gazelle in the abyss that we call the garage, since he has to clean it up for the weight machine anyway. I may not see him for a week, but I can always send the dog out to find him. She never leaves his side!!! Catherine: Awwwwwwwww...he is so cute!! But really, tell him not to try that because Sammi did it to me once :p and I would rather change a poopy diaper anyday than have that happen again!!! :fr: Well, TOM is still MIA, and I am getting cranky and annoyed. Doug had his sleep test last night and came home just when the kids were getting off to school, so he really threw me off and I forgot to WI before breakfast. I must remember to do it tommorrow! Hi gals. How are you all doing today? I'm hanging in there. Staying OP is so much easier after a few weeks have gone by. I'm contemplating doing the WATP one mile. I used to be able to do the 2 mile but I think I want to do 1 mile every day this week to get used to it again.
battle: Good for you! I hate hate hate seeing pictures of video of myself. It's ery cool that you can feel so much better about yourself than you used to! Moosegirl: It really is crazy how much that little changes here and there can do so much. It's pretty much how I lost weight a few years back. I think the trick for was changing slowly as to not overwhelm myself. NotTheCheat: Hmm,.. that does make sense. I just saw fitday's numbers and it just seemed so high :D I'm trying to go low but not too low. It's an odd balance. debbie54: Ugh, I hear you. Exercise is usually where I slack off. Probably because it's the hardest for me to do. If we can just tough it out, it will get easier and easier for us! goingtolose200: How was the weigh in? TheStorysofar: ouch :( Is your back feeling any better today? RealCdn: I tend to lurk alot too. I find that when I'm feeling worst about myself, I close up and shut the world out. AmmiUk: Ugh, I hate when hubby does that. Mine needs to lose weight and he says he will, but he hasn't really cut out all of his junk yet. If I nag him, it will push him more over onto the "bad food side" so I'm hoping that he'll take my actions as some sort of encouragement. I know what you mean though, sometimes it can be so hard when bratty hubby is sitting there eating something that looks so goood. |

Nancy, I've been noticing the same thing with some of my tops. I gotta admit, it feels good in a naughty sort of way. :rofl: Mind you, I'm the president of the "Itty Bitty Titty" committee. :lol: Alison, what kind of magazines are you buying? I love to get the fitness ones and imagine myself looking that good. Only a pipe dream, but it still makes ya want to work out. Donna, I think you're right that it's an old one. The one I have is where she is walking by herself. It's the evening mile with leg work. I have about 7 different ones of hers. I sorta get bored with them though and go back to the DDR. Probably will do that tonight. Good luck on finding the gazelle. :rofl: Heather Dw, I still haven't advanced to the 2 mile either. I get so bored with it actually that I start concentrating on the time rather than the exercise. I lose interest too fast. I dunno, maybe I have the attention span of a peanut. I DID go workout after being on here last night, so thanks for the motivation ladies. I'm still OP, and actually got all my water in yesterday, was peeing like a race horse, but got it all in. I've already eaten a lot today, but with effort, can still come in on plan. I think coming down from the nerves of last night had an effect on my eating. I have to remember that there are better ways to regroup. Donna: it is doubly miserable when TOM is due but decides to delay his arrival. I hope TOM comes soon and you can get back to normal. If you feel bloated, it probably won't hurt to wait on WI for a few days. Nancy, you wild woman, you! Hehe. I know about the shirts coming down way more than they used to in the front. It's kind of a funny fashion statement--a tent-like look with a plunging neckline. Debbie: I also grow bored and impatient with the WATP, but actually it's with all of the exercise videos. I can only stand a max of the 2 mile walk, 30 minutes, before I start screaming for mercy. The only exercise activities that don't make me feel this way are walking/hiking and biking. The scenery keeps me actively interested. Hi to Moose, heather dw, toofat, and everyone else! |
Only have I moment. Was only down .5 this week. Kinda sucks. Kinda cranky now. On to bigger and better weigh ins next week!

Jim and I walked down to the mail box today. It's probably 1/2 mile total. It was pretty cold out but felt really good. Then we came back and did 2 hours on the DDR but I only claim 1 hour of it since Jim and I alternate between songs. All in all, I think we got some good exercise in. Still OP. We made veggie pizza tonight for dinner and it was pretty good. I try not to eat too much bread products so I only had 2 pcs of a 8 pc pizza, which is within my calorie limit. It sure was good!
Battle, I feel the same way about the videos. I'd much rather be outside in the fresh air. I hope to get my bike this year. I wanted one last year but we just never had the money for the kind that we want, so I'm hoping for this year. Maybe with our tax return. Hope you can rein in your eating and stay within your calorie limit. Heck, I know you can. Brenda, .5 is better than nothing, like me this week. Today's our anniversary. I made goat and couscous from scratch, not that pre-steamed stuff out of a box. So I spent the afternoon fluffing it so it wouldn't stick together. You steam it over the goat as it cooks, so I spent the afternoon also smelling that. Right now normal things don't smell good to me so you can imagine what the goat smelled like. I sure didn't want any of it. Himself loved how it smelled, and ate enough for the both of us. I'm the one supposed to be eating for two instead of him. He will definitely have to go to the pool with me.

Hi All - snowing and feeling like I want to hibernate. So what did we do - go eat Chinese - no we both are not feeling so great - DH is really sick after just a 10 minute ride home from the restaurant and I'm really quesy. Other than that a great day! It's a heavy snow so very pretty to look at.

I have lost 4.5 pounds this week, so I am happy about that. I am getting closer to 350 (bleh), but it's progress. Just gotta keep doing it. I feel like two pounds per week isn't asking that much, but sometimes my actions aren't aligned. Go figure. Anyway, gotta run. Angie |

*sigh* I just looooooove being on that TOM. No matter HOW much I eat, my stomach is still growling, and chocolate. Oh man. I'm sure I won't see a loss this week. Oh well. Hopefully it will be gone shortly, and I can go back to normal. :P

BattleAx – I once appeared on TV, back in 2001 for a chat show in the UK, I hated it, well I hated the way I looked I still did nothing about my weight though!
Donna – Tell me about TOM, I am wondering if mine will show next week, since I have PCOS and she appeared last month at Christmas after MIA for 11 months, wondering if the added weight loss will make her more regular…. We shall see! Heather – Good look with doing the mile, I am really hoping to take part in a seven mile walk in London in July, not committed yet to it, it depends how much more I can lose between now and say May as to whether I feel fit enough to do it! Debbie – I am buying anything from cheap weekly ones to monthly glossy ones, I prefer my monthly glossy’s like Marie Clar, Cosmo, Zest and anything else that takes my fancy! It’s costing me a small fortune but at the same time I have more money since I am not buying junk food! Lol Catherine – That sounds good! Carol – I really want a proper snowfall, I love snow makes it really feel like winter… Angie – Well done on the loss, that’s excellent not be long now till you reach your goal! Annie – Good luck with the official weigh in tomorrow… Well I got my first official NSV… I have two pairs of jeans in the wardrobe that I bought over two and half years ago that never ever fitted me, I could get them on but I couldn’t get them over my belly… so I decided yesterday to dig them out and try them on and they fit! I couldn’t believe it so I shall be wearing them tomorrow for the first time, I’ve not worn jeans for over 14 years! Here’s hoping in another six week or so they will be too big! As for the radio stuff yesterday, later on at lunch time I got a call from the BBC News Studio asking me if I wanted to appear on my local news to discuss the issues raised… ermmm NO AND NO! Once was bad enough, I didn’t care they where going to send a car and pay me my expenses!
