People always underestimate how much I weigh - not that I allow a lot of people to guess. I am thinking more about the nurse at the doctor's office who always acts suprised, or starts the scale at the 150 mark and slowly slides up as if there is any chance in **** that I weigh between 150 and 200.
Anyway, we had a guest this weekend for thanksgiving that I always assumed weighed more than me. Never thought that much about it, but just assumed. He appears to be much larger than me, and certainly wears clothes that are much much larger than my size. He tried out the scale in our bathroom and came out beaming and saying he was down to 265! I was floored and shocked that I weigh more than him!
I've had this same experience before with thinking people must weigh more than what they do. I guess everyone just wears their weight differently so some people look heavier than than are, and some look lighter than they are. My fat is pretty evenly distributed, but the guy who I was talking about above wears it all in his belly and face. His arms and legs, though, are scrawny... so I am guess that is why is weight is lower than I'd expect.
I don't know the point of this post. Just depressed and venting I guess. It's depressing when you see someone that you are sure you are smaller than, and it turns out that you outweigh them by 40 lbs.
Thanks for listening.
