I am wondering if there is anyone in the 400+ range who would like to team up and be email buddies for more support..I could really use a buddy! I am just a newbie so far, hehe.

Thanks so much!

WELCOME to 3FC!!!!! This is a great place for support, ideas and inspiration!!

I'm not 400 plus, but we do have some members here who fit that category. You may also want to introduce yourself in our weekly numbered thread (300+ and ready to try again). That's our really active support place...

Yupyup, there are a bunch of 400+ members hanging out around here--and some who USED to be 400+ and have successfully lost a bunch of weight (such inspirations)! Like Heather said, come and join us in the numbered conversation threads--we're a very friendly group and love welcoming new members!

Greetings Carrie, and .I've been hanging around for awhile and I do love the ladies on this site. There are so many stories that move me for one reason or another. I hope you can draw some inspiration too. I am 43 years old and fat for as long as I can remember. I look at pictures now of when I was told so often how fat I was and it makes me sooooo angry. I wish I could have a handle on myself then, instead of wait for a HUGE battle. But any way here I am. I have 2 sons. 21 and 16 and I have inherited 4 of my neices a year ago. My brother is in prison soon to be retried and hopefully out, but the mom is lost in the drug world. So I have 4 lovely ladies to raise now. 15,10,9,and 7. All really good girls. But I'm just to unhealthy to do all the fun stuff. they dont seem to mind but I know they wish I could go for long walks with them. I'm working on it. I would love to be and have some extra support from a lady working with a larger package than most, like me. Let me know how I can help you. Privite message is always a way to talk more "privte" any time lady, any time. take care and so nice to meet you. .

Hi! I am new here too, and started out at 481.6 pounds, down to 460.2 as of today. I am sooo happy to find others in this range. It's relatively new territory to me as for so long I stayed at 380 never more sometimes less. Then, before I knew it, I was 411, 425, oh why! Didn't I stop before 2 weeks ago?!?!?!

I've dropped 21 pounds in the past 2 weeks (South Beach) and of course that's mostly water weight, but I'll take it! lol

Glad to be here.

Hi ladies and welcome. I am not quite in your range, the biggest I ever got was around the 330 pounds. That doesn't mean that I don't know where you guys are coming from.

It looks like a great site with people who need to lose some real weight. Another site I went to seemed to have "tiny" overweight people, mostly seemed to be around 200 pounds which I would kill to get down to. To be honest that is my long term goal for the moment and once there if I want I may try to go lower.

Good luck ladies,
Take care,
Jennylee

Well THANK GOD I am no longer part of the 400 club. In fact I am no longer of the 500 club, better yet, I am no longer part of the 300 club. I was at 510lbs January 1st, 218lbs later I'm at 292. If there is any support that I can offer (from someone who has let his membership expire), let me know!
