  • I know I've seen other threads around like this, but I don't remember seeing one in here, so I wondered if you ladies would like to add to this.

I just got a new mp3 player, so I'm putting together a bunch of songs to exercise/walk with. Add a couple (or more!) of your favorite songs to work out to! I'll start it off:

    1) Nuts in a Blender - Let Me Light A Fire In You
    2) Brand New - Guernica
    3) Shania Twain ft. Billy Currington - Party For Two
    4) Violent Femmes - Blister In The Sun
    5) Freddy Fender - Tell It Like It Is

*note* I listen to nearly everything, so anything and everything is welcome on this list!
  • I am thinking about getting a mp3 player. If i may ask how is it? Do they cost a lot?
  • I have a GPX one rather than an iPod or Zune or etc. I just got it today, but I absolutely love it. It holds a gig, so I have more than enough room to add songs and switch it up frequently. Mine was $32.99 regularly.
  • Great idea! Here are some of my favorites currently in my MP3:

    - Canned Heat by Jamiroquai
    - Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall
    - Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet
    - Man, I Feel Like a Woman by Shania Twain
    - I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness
    - There She Goes by Sixpence None the Richer
    - Vehicle by Ides of March
    - Back in Black by AC/DC
  • Oooh yes!! I love exercising, doing housework to music, mine are:-

Paint it Black - Rolling Stones
From Out of Nowhere - Faith No More
    Epic - Faith No More
Dude Looks Like a Lady - Aerosmith
    What D'ya do For Money - AC/DC
    Fight Song - Marilyn Manson
These really get me moving when I'm ironing or cleaning, though there's TONS more I can't think of at the mo.
    Great idea Brandnewme!

  • Brandnewme, great minds think alike, I was recently thinking about starting a thread asking for people's fave work out songs. I'm getting an MP3 player hopefully for my birthday next month, but for now I just want to make a work out CD. I see some great songs have been mentioned and I'm sure I've got a few of them.

A few songs that I know I like are:
Relight My Fire - Take That
Could It Be Magic - Take That
    Tragedy - Steps
    Stomp - Steps
    Chain Reaction - Diana Ross
Wired For Sound - Cliff Richard
    Physical - Olivia Newton John
