Darcy, it was pretty gross, lol. I was making faces and going "ewwww" several times, lol.

Wannabe, sorry about the gain, but you CAN do this, just jump back on and start again! No clue about the points in fried worms, a lot I imagine as they kept cooking them in A LOT of grease, ewwwww.

RR that's awesome about the 3 free meals a day, that had to have saved a ton! K will have a blast.

Holy, wtg on getting up at 5am to exercise, I don't think I could. ;)

fitafter4 09-11-2006 02:32 PM

Yes -- I am still alive. I've been so busy I don't have much time to think, much less post!!

Sounds like everyone is doing well....besides TOM and constipation (haha)! Hate 'em both...........

Melody ~ my kiddos want to go see the "worm" movie...but I refuse! I can't handle gross stuff! Congrats for making it through the movie!! By the way... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!:gift:

Holy ~ Congrats on the 5am! I, too, am an "early-workouter"; although last week I couldn't....baby was sick. It's amazing how much better I feel throughout the day when I start it with exercise! Good for you!

LBH ~ lunch sounds yummy.......in fact, I'm eating lunch right now! Soup (in a bread bowl). It's a chicken broth soup, so I decided I could go with the bread.

Wannabe ~ I completely understand the frustration of losing the same 10 lbs. You're definitely singing my tune......BUT--think about it THIS way: At least you're losing the same 10 lbs, NOT a NEW 10 lbs.!

Darcy ~ sounds like you've got yourself quite an athletic family! Good for you. It's always good to start the exercising/activity with kids early in life.

RR ~ HI!

Lisa ~ I am laughing out loud with you....I am the same way! Once I get started on a "project" I can't stop until it's DONE! I hope your room turned out well.

Squishy ~ hope you're having a great Monday. :D

Mama ~ .6 down at TOM? I would definitely call that a POSITIVE!! :bravo:

Hope I haven't missed anyone.........................

Fondly,
Fit

wannaBsize7 09-11-2006 07:59 PM

Fit Good point. ;)

MEL LOL! sounds like that movie is a good appitiete suppressant

Holyteror 09-12-2006 12:16 AM

i'm usually not a morning person but i thought the early workout would help. Some days it does. today i just wanted all my coworkers to go away. We moved upstairs and our cubicles are small small small. It's frustrating to lose workspace.....and part of that workspace included some privacy. It felt like being at the long end of a squared off U was more comfortable being in the 90 degree angle of a 6X6 L. Now i'm practically in the aisle, not all of our stuff fit.....they had to special order the plastic doodads they put down for the computer chairs in offices....the ones we had didn't fit. It's a real pain in the rear.....small, crowded, noisy......whats sad is that gophers have more space in their own gopherholes than we do right now.

This morning.....after the workout, i get to work........i have to climb upstairs now. Not a bad thing mind you, but my knees were a little sore LOL

squishy1234 09-12-2006 09:33 AM

Holy- I understand that lack of privacy! Not good for the workers' psyche! I hearda remake of the song "Your Beautiful" called "My Cubicle" it was poinant!

Well my fiber capsules are making things better- thanks for all the sympathy even with my TMI! You guys are awesone... did I mention that?

SBD is going ok for me. I like the recipes and dont really miss the grains at dinner as I thought I would. I love the ricotta cheese with cocoa powder for dessert too. I sat with DH and DD having choco chip cookie dough ice cream while I had my ricotta and I was fine! Cocoa powd is nice. Chocolate is nice....

DD is not thrilled with school still but I think part of it is that she is a bit of a whiner. She likes things just her way and likes to get attention so this is a perfect gig for her. I am setting ground rules that she can only tell me bad news after good news and only things I can help her with not just be her emotional sponge all the time. It is helping and she is more conscious of the complaints now. (patpatpat on my back- good job mommy)

I actually have a patient today. I actually DO work and DO have a job though sometimes I wonder. If this keeps up I am getting something else. I may even start a horse barn cleaning service. Physical activity with a purpose!

Well, I cant manage to catch up on all responses right now so for now- ttfn and I am reading posts and I think that y'all are cycling together like college girls in the same dorm! Neat eh? I bet the rest of us will be at the same time in a couple of weeks! Let's see!

Jess

wannaBsize7 09-12-2006 11:42 AM

I did fairly well yesterday, although I think I went over my points on some Cheeto's. I realized that I'm only a week away from TOM so that explains why I wanna eat all the time.
My choices yesterday weren't that great, but I did eat portions.

I sympathize with you holy, Sounds like it really sucks!!
Squishy, I'm glad you like the ricotta, personally I hate it!! Sounds like your off to a good start. BTW I lost 11 in the first two weeks on SBD
The bad new only after good is a great idea, I;ll have to tuck that one back in case I ever need it ;)

Stevi-rocks 09-12-2006 11:44 AM

Hey Chickies!!
Gotta be quick as Lil Feller can now get some pretty serious distance crawling. He's pulling up on the tables as well. The nightmare has begun! I don't know for the life of me how I did it but I'm down two pounds! Seems to be the trend with me...2lbs. I thought it odd I hadn't shown a gain at TOM. rearranged the entire living room to accompodate Logans new found talents. I tryed to keep it asthetically appealing to no real avail. It could be worse I suppose. He's gonna be all boy...you know the ones. Fearless and sooo rambumgious (sp?). He follows the cat around the house, its pretty funny. Got the new high chair. Should have come with a warning label " MAJOR ASSEMBLY REQUIRED!!!" Geeez! Screws, snaps, straps, tigers and bears OH MY! The shopping trip was marvy, went with MIL. She's just about as thrifty as me. This kid is going to have trouble wearing all this stuff! Couldn't find shoes to fit his fat lil feet. I'd love to remark to all but I'm too far behind.
Love Ya, Mean it!

Lauren~ I was early. I also go only three to four days but pretty heavy.

Lilybug 09-12-2006 01:29 PM

Hello everyone.. I'm just going to jump right in.

I'm up 2 pounds after a BAAD weekend. My father was in town and stayed for 2 days with us. Of course I brought in junk food and cokes for him and I ate them as well. :( I also didn't exercise at all. I did however play volleyball last night. Today, I'm back on track and hope to loose those 2 pounds this week.

B~veggie stew
L~cheese/apple
D~baked tilapia/spinach salad/broccoli

I've already walked for 30 minutes on the treadmill today and I hope to get in 30 more when Joe (hubby) gets home.

Stevi~ Aren't little boys the best? I have 4 of them and the younger two (almost 11 months) are twins. They are just all over the place! My 2 year old will climb on anything and jump off of anything LOL, he's a handful. :)

LBH 09-12-2006 01:47 PM

Hi All,

Lily...God Bless....that's all I can say about boys! My little guy is like that, a monkey...will climb anything!

Stevi, I've got two of them..."all boys". Is DS1 also that way? I get the feeling the hag's gonna be here tomorrow...was slightly crampy this AM...which is odd for me. Do tell how Logan "grew out" of his 1st high chair?! Oh, and I've given up re-org'ing furniture!! It's just not worth it!!

 HI to everyone else!!

squishy1234 09-12-2006 02:33 PM

I too am involved in Feng Shui today involving hefty trash bags and being relentless in DDs room! We spent Sat sorting thru the nightmare of a mess and I am now doing the "while she's not looking" job of ditching all the 1/2 finished "crafts" and old birthday cards she does nothing with and the clothes that are too small and she never wears but cant part with. OMG WHAT A MESS! It was clean about 1 mo ago but we had a few sleepovers and friends over and now it is B.A.D.! What a pack rat and our house is small! I know it stresses her out too to have a big mess. She has taken to sleeping in our bed again (the little snugglebug was finally broken of it a bit ago) and with school starting and the mess, it is just too much for her. I cant walk into the room without stepping on some sharp painful treasure. I hope this cleanup gets her happy to be in there again( so does DH!);)

Lilybug- I know how it is to shop for someone else and have the stuff in the house and being eaten! Ugh! Poor you! Glad to hear you are pulling yourself right back up and hitting the road running again! WTG!:carrot: :carrot:

Stevi- life does end when they get mobile until about age 4! Good luck!

I hope to do the elliptical today- DH made us late this am so we couldnt walk to the bus stop :( so I have to do something! I need to clean the barn after work too but with a patient at 3:30 I doubt I will have tme to walk down there... well, heck why not?! 30 min on elliptical or 30 min walking to the barn, Why not! :?:

I have been keeping an "Inches lost" Word file. I thought since I was 2 lbs done to go ahead and measure. 1st I just checked a few things out, my hips and thighs are major problemos for me. Hips 46" and thighs 27". When I saw what I had logged in the file from June I about fell out my chair!! I have lost 7.5" from these hips of mine! 4" from my thighs! 4.5" from my hips was in the last 6 weeks. Holy Moly.:D

707Goddess 09-12-2006 06:04 PM

good for you stevi I just wrote my starting mesurements last night
I hope i can do as well as you................
great job

MelodyL 09-12-2006 06:25 PM

Hey everyone!! WTG on the 2 lbs and inches lost Stevi!! I've been doing my inches as well, I've lost a total of 35 inches from all over since I started! My hips are my problem area as well, I've lost the most from them, but they are still huge, lol. ;)

Michelle, wtg for getting back on track!!

Squishy, I am going to be doing the same thing tomorrow, cleaning, organizing, etc!!

Lily, sorry about the 2 lb gain, but that's awesome for getting back on track quickly!

Holy, sorry about the cubicle, sounds awful.

Wannabe, isn't TOM just a blast, NOT!! Boy do I get sick of those cycles. Mine arrived this morning, 4 days early (was 5 days early last month). I've always been really regular, and if I was going to get irregular I would really prefer it to be farther apart, NOT closer together! Oivay!

Well this morning was my WW's weigh in, I was down 2.6 pounds and today is the first day of AF, so I was pretty dang happy. I did not use any of my flex points last week and followed some other goals, so I am going to do it again this week and hope that this has made that dang scale start moving again. I think I will try two weeks no flex points, one week using them, and repeat so that my body doesn't get used to not using them, but maybe will continue to lose weight. We'll see how it goes. :) Today was Noah's first day of kindergarten, he had a great time and Mom got to go to her WW"s meeting all by herself, was strange! ;)

Talk to ya all soon!!

wannaBsize7 09-12-2006 07:29 PM
