Unhappy Frustrated

Hello Ladies,

It's Alex frustrated I worked out today and my legs are killing me I actually got on the treadmill and did it But right now is when I have that craving for something sweet What do I do when there is a Hershey's Milk Chocolate with Almonds my favorite I can't throw it away it isn't mine what do I do. I don't want to fall apart! Plus how many calories do you think that just a piece has?

Put that candy bar away where you can't see it! Can you brush your teeth? (Sometimes) brusing my teeth works for me because I know it will distort the flavor, so I won't even bother eating it.

Good job on the work out today!!

Thanks for the suggestion I'm going to try that it can't hurt right I am I have that though it's like with Diet Coke. But it'll get easier right! Just got to hang in there I'm so happy for this support group!!!

If it's not yours, you can't eat it anyway. If it belongs to someone else, go put it with their things.

When I have a sweet craving, I chop up an apple and put it in the microwave for about 5 minutes and add some cinnamon (I also love to add some frozen blueberries before I nuke it). Sliced pineapple roasted in the oven is good too. Whole wheat tortilla, smeared with peanut butter, heated, wrapped around a banana. Smart pop 99% fat free Kettle corn snack bag (100 calories). Chunks of frozen mango. Lots of good, sweet, low cal options.

You look great!!!! I hope that I have your strength and motivation to get down to my goal weight which is atleast 135!!!

My advice to you is 'don't do it'. I know it's hard b/c I've suffered from those cravings too. Each time it's hard to resist, I remind my self that if I walk away, in an hour I will be so proud of myself for not giving in. I like that. In our busy lives we have so many demands and sometimes we can't get everything done so that puts us down but when I refuse to give into something sweet, ha I achieved something even if it's something so small as not eating ice-cream or whatever the temptation. Sometimes it's easier than others, last week wasn't good for me and I suffered the depression side effects of it. I don't want to live like that. Eating the temptation doesn't give me as much satisfaction as it feels when I overcome an obstacle. I feel empowered after, I'm finally in control. I've had many people control me all my life and I didn't like it. Now when I control me, I love it. I guess I'm on a power kick with myself, no one else, just me. I hope we've all helped in some way. The people here are GREAT!!
