Stevi, I think Kat has an attitude, and she shreaks too much...just sing in one range per song! :lol: I liked Elliot, but I was surprised he made it that far. I loved Mandisa and was totally shocked when she got the boot. Of course Chris was my favorite. His bands website is: www.absentelement.com. You can listen to clips off their EP there, and read words to their songs. They have a message board also. I have fallen in love with their song "Keep Me Close"...I just melt listening to it! :love:

Stevi-you asked what the deal was with Catherine. I just don't think she has as much talent as some of the people that got voted off. She hits alot of flat notes and her voice quality is just *blah* to me. I like listening to the singers but towards the end, American Idol turns into a popularity contest. I don't think that's a fair way to judge their abilities. Now Taylor, on the other hand, I just love. He has a unique voice and he is just a riot to watch on the stage. He looks like the kind of person who enjoys what he does and doesn't give a care if someone doesn't like it. I hope he wins, but seems like the ones who win are the ones with the pretty faces and perfect bodies...(sad).

Molly, I'm soo sorry to hear about your BIL...he'll definitely be in my prayers!

Speaking of prayers, I didn't get a chance to mention this, but my Gramps has been in the hospital since Wednesday afternoon. My mom went up to their place after work and she took one look at him (he hasn't been feeling well for a couple weeks) and took his BP and pulse. She called the front desk (they live in an assisted living place, but have an independent place) and they sent security up. Security are also EMTs. They checked him out and said my mom sure called it...he was in heart failure (which means his lungs were filling up). They called the ambulance and brought him to the hospital, where he was eventually admitted. They put him on an IV of Lasix (a water pill) to help empty his lungs. I guess there was some other meds too, I don't know. Anyway, as of yesterday, his lungs were all clear and he was feeling much better. He's going home today. Oh, and btw, he'll be 95 in September!

Stevi, Chris sang "Hemmorage" earlier on in the competition, which is what drew Fuel's attention. I don't know the song, but it sounded like he did a good job.

Fuel is actually a pretty good group. I listen to their stuff all the time. I think Chris would fit right in.

Today is such a hectic mess. I decided not to go anywhere but I'm trying to catch up on all my housework and have forty thousand other projects that I want to get done. I just can't figure out what to start with. I have been working on my laundry and I mopped the floor and cleaned our bedroom. I figure that I'm burning some calories. ;)

SO what else is everyone else doing today???? I"m working on being an angel and behaving. I haven't snacked and am eating as good as I possibly can today. Maybe later, I can go for a walk or something.

Hi ladies!
Went to the Renaissance Faire today. Thought I was gonna hafta go off plan but nothing appealled to me. Everybody say YAY! I did get a sunburn though but I can burn walking out to the car! :D Had rehearal on Fri. All is going very well with the new drummer. He plays in time MOST of the time! Better than the previous drummer, EVERYTHING way too fast. He's also got some really good creative ideas.

Chris, Ya know I really didn't think Kelly had that great of a body and Fantasia's not all that beautiful (And her voice is like nails on a chaulk board!) So I'd have to agree that in some of the cases it was just votes not talent. But thats just me. Thanks for the AI updates!

Okay..they say 3rd times a charm. Well this is my 3rd time trying to type this thing and my laptop is super touchy and it keeps disappearing.

ANyhow, Stevi..BIG YAHOO! :carrot: Way to go girlie! Also, I'll have to stand corrected on my pretty comment for AI. Of course though, I do have to agree with you on Fantasia. Her voice grates on my nerves just like the Nanny did.:D

So what's everyone's plans for the day? WIsh me luck at Chuck E Cheese. We're having a birthday party for our daughter there today. I'm sticking to the salad bar. I'm allergic to yeast so Pizza is out, but I never liked it much anyhow. Tomorrow I'm starting back in at the gym...with or without my sister. I think I can handle it. I haven't done weights for awhile so I'm going to start doing the Lifecircuit every other day again. Maintain some of the muscle I actually built up.
