If any of you ladies are Catholic, could you tell me what St. Catherine stood for? My boss wants to nominate me for St. Catherine Medal Award, and I am not sure what that is.

Any input would be good.

I'm not Catholic, but I just did a quick search of St. Catherine and this seems to have a lot of info. (I didn't read it, as it doesn't interest me!)
