Good Morning!!!Wow..it seems like I must the garage sales soon!!I like to piddle but DH hates them so I just miss it...We have been outside splashing in the pool and blowing bubbles..
I am starting serious about excercise, water drinking and dieting again tomorrow...I am hating myself again and hate that feeling..ALso tired of "Starting" over and over..I am weighing myself tomorrow and then will post on that site fitday.com that someone mentioned on the last thread..I loved the way it grafted and kept up with everything...I think it is worth the time to do it...
well..off to do something productive!!
Hello all!!

Hello all,

Last week was a major blow off week. Not only did I do it in my diet, I also did it in what I did. The second half of the week I pretty much slept. I needed it though.

Tommorrow starts summer school. I will be taking 4 classes this summer, however not all at the same time. The most will be three (which is do-able).

Hope everyone has a good week.

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a pretty good one. We went to visit friends yesterday and ate out for TWO meals. Ugh. That part wasn't so pretty! Alex was an angel the entire day. It made my Mother's heart proud! He played so nicely and kept saying "Hug" to the little girl (she is 4) and giving her big ol hugs. It was adorable.

We got my bike and the bike trailer out today and figured out how to put them together. And, of course, it rained. So I took Alex on a short ride the evening. Just twice around our block, but that is the most exercise I've done in a long time. There's a tiny hill and man, does the trailer with a kid make a difference! I was tuckered out from just the hill.

Lauren: We went by several garage sales yesterday but there was nothing that I wanted. Maybe next week!

RR: What fun! I wish we were able to play in the pool. It's still to cold here. They are calling for more rain and "blustery" wind tomorrow. I'm not sure what the heck that's supposed to mean, but it's not supposed to get out of the 50's. If we hit 60 we'll be lucky.

Lisa: Good luck with your classes.

Hi everyone
Monday morniing AGAIN - how did that happen? We are coming up to an exciting week - DH has his 4th (we hope final) interview for his dream job - working in a big hardware chain store. Such rigmarole to sell hammers!! But he was born to do it, and the money will be nice . I have an interview for a F-T job on Wednesday so if DH gets some news on Tuesday I'll be able to make a better decision (that's if they like me LOL). Only 6 days until my 10km run aarrrggghhhh. Maybe I will buy the event t-shirt to reward myself (for the attempt? For being a loony??) AF arrived on Sat, 3 days late so I was v. disappointed as we are (kind of) TTC. Oh well. Our darling girl was a gift (3 yrs of IVF) so I should be counting my blessings shouldn't I?
I had a look at FitDay and it's soooo impressively thorough that it's not quite what I need right now. My little spreadsheet/ tick-list seems to be going ok though...
RR, how about instead of thinking about it as "Starting again", think if it as "continuing"???
Lisa -Glad you listened to your body and slept!!!

Have a good week everyone

Well today has not been a good day. I was doing good until I hit Music Appriciation class. It is a four hour class, and I didn't have lunch before. During our break I didn't have time to go to the car and get my lunch to heat up. So I had Diet M.D. and ho-hos from the vending machine. Then after dinner I still needed something so I got a small Frosty from Wendy's.

Oh these five weeks are going to be rough ones I think. Please hold me accountable.

Off to study....Oh joy.

I was wondering where you guys went and it just dawned on me that you switch to a new thread each week. Duh!!!!!
So far so good. I got one girl with a UTI, ear infection, and a respiratory virus. Yeaahhh! (just a touch of sarcasm). So its antibiotics and prednisone for the little honey. TOM is here too so I am a crabby person too. I'll get over it.
I'll check back later. I have to get the girls to school. TTFN.

HI Chris - hang in there with your TOM and sick little one, hope you both feel better soon
Hi Lisa - you can do it! A bag full of apples/sandwiches/snack bars (low fat of course!!) will get you through. 4 hours is a bloody long class, I'd have stopped appreciating music by the end LOL
How's everyone else's week travelling?
We had some GREAT NEWSyesterday - DH got a job!! He sold his business in Dec and has been doing renovations since then; now he will be working in a big hardware store 5 min from out place (4 interviews, can you believe it?). I have an interview today and now there's not so much pressure to take the job if it's not altogether suitable :-)
4 sleeps to my 10km run, oh dear.....
Have a good week

LB, that is great news. Are you still trying for that other job? I have that class on Mons. and Weds. and then on Tues. and Thurs. I have another 4 hour class. Luckily they are only for five weeks. The next five weeks I have only one class that is 4 hours, that class is Intro to Religion. I did better today. I went to Subway and got a turkey sub (and had it toasted).

The weather is crappy or I would be outside. It didn't even get out of the 60's and it is raining.

Well time to crack the books.

Good Morning!!!
Lisa--Hang tight!!! Good idea about the bag lunch!! Or move here cuz there are no such things as HoHo's!!

Chris--When it rains, it pours!!I dont think there is anytime that your child gets one thing at a time..Poor baby!!

LB--Yeah on the job!! THat would relieve alot of stress!!!

Well...Day 1 and all is well with the "restart" program...My small goal is 10 lbs gone by July 4th...I took K to the woods to meet my parents and 4 y/o neice who were camping all day yesterday...I have plenty of excercise after running behind 2 girls up the slides and playground equipment, and down the trails..
Karen--I thought about U..on the way home, K was asleep and was sort of coughing--next thing I knew, she was vomiting phlegm and choking and I could hear the wheezing from the front seat..I panicked, pulled over and realized I didnt have my ALbuteral..It was horrible...she had trouble the rest of the way home and it was the longest 10 miles I ever drove stopping 5 times to clear her out..DH met me in the driveway with the mask, and immediately she was better...I think what made it worse, my little 3 year old from the hospital that I have been caring for on and off weekly for the last 1.5 yrs, died on friday..Poor baby, he had drank industrial strength dishwashing liquid at 15 months and had at least 30 surgeries to fix things..His tracheostomy closed at the park, and the mom or the home health nurse couldnt get a new tube down or suction him..I have been soo sick since hearing about it and that is all I could think about watching K have trouble breathing.
Ok...it is 4:30 am and time to leave!!!

Hello everyone,

RR: OMG, that's awful about the little boy. I'm so sorry to hear his life was so fraught with pain and medical procedures. I've never heard of industrial strength diswashing liquid. Geeze, that is some lethal stuff. I'm sorry about K having breathing problems too. I've never been that bad, it would totally freak me out.

Lisa: I can't imagine a 4 hour class. I would hate any class that was 4 hours long. Even if it was my favorite subject otherwise. I hate dinners that take that long! Of course, I'm thinking of Passover dinners sitting on a hard metal chair, but still. Good luck!

LB: Congrats to your husband on the job. I'm sure it feels great to have the pressure off of you. Good luck at your interview.

Chris: Hope your little one is feeling better.

I let myself get depressed and off course on Monday. AF showed up late and I had gotten all excited thinking this was my lucky month. Ugh. I'm going to the Doctor on Thursday to see what can be done. Hopefully something.

Hello to everyone!

Hello all, yesterday I did really good until about 11:30 pm. I had just finished reading (well skimming) 3 chapters for today, I went down stairs and saw two pieces of pizza, and they looked good. So I ate them. I know I shouldn't be eating that late, I don't know why I did it, either. Ugh!

Hi all! Sorry I have been scarce. It is the last week of school here so getting the kids finishing up has been a challenge. It is hot here, mid 90s all week. I love that dry heat!

I did not make the best food choices last week, and I haven't exercised in a week either, but the scale is down 2 lbs. Probably muscle

RR: sorry your little one has had such a rough time of it, and I am so sad to hear about that little boy. Kinda helps put things in perspective.
