That sounds like a lot, but I'd be willing to try it. I'm not sure how long I could keep it up, though. Have you been having a lot of success with it?
  • I really have. On the weeks that I drink a gallon of water every day I end up losing 3 pounds (on average) a week, on the days that I can't drink that much I lose 1 pound (on average)
  • Is it just me, or are there other women who gain like 7 pounds during their period?

That's great. I would love to lose something like 5 lbs a month. I kinda started with the gallon a day, but then the next day I was out and about and didn't want to have to keep using public restrooms so that failed, but today I'm back on it. Maybe I'll do better with consistency if I start fresh in June and make it a monthly goal.

I once read somewhere that people can gain even 10 lbs. I wouldn't mind the gains if half the time I didn't get stuck at period weight for an extra week after it's over.

I really hope that does not happen to me since I have 1 more pound to lose to meet my May goal and there is one more week left to do it!
  • This month was horrible for me weight-wise. Due to the excess stress of trying to cover bills and such, my weight loss was very minimal. But hey, 2.9 lbs down is still 2.9 lbs down. For June, I am still aiming for 10 lbs loss for a total weight loss of 35.6 lbs and we will see how that goes. My food this month has been horrible as my mother in law almost cost us our apartment and we were barely scraping by with food. For June, we are focusing on creating a food budget and figuring out ways to make food stretch as there are now only 4 of us to feed. Here's to another month down on our weight loss journey!!
