Default Nutritionist Degree near 40

Hi,

I recently found my passion and want to pursue a career in Nutrition. I currently am a full time marketing, creative director and I have art and advertising background. So the nutrition field is totally different career path, but I do online fitness coaching to help people and I did fall in love with helping people lose weight.

I want to know if it's too late to begin studying for this career and goto school at my age at 38. And also want to know if online nutrition bachelor degree is sufficient to getting a job after graduation.

thanks for your support

Unfortunately I am not familiar with that field and so don't have any information to give to you but I did want to send some support and encouragement your way! I feel like it is never too late in life to follow our dreams and passions! I hope that you are able to get this figured out and wish you lots of luck!!!

I don't have knowledge of that field either, but I will tell you I am a 35, almost 36, year old who is in college slowly earning a bachelor's in accounting. It's never too late to pursue a dream. Go for it!!

I'm currently paying off some college bills but once I have that done, I too will be going back to school to finish up my degree. I'm 36 myself, and it's been surprising to realize that what I was interested in back in my 20s is not something that I want now. We grow at different stages in our lives, and if this is what you want, go for it!

However, do make sure you do the research for jobs in this field. It's been really tight in this economy lately and you may find no jobs in sight. Point being, make sure you have a backup plan but go for it in the meantime.
