Hello Everyone -

I'm back...and almost where I started at over 4 years ago now. Crazy. My journey has been up and down and I am hoping that this time I can make it and not give up! Starting over sucks, but I want to reach my goal.

I turned 30 this year and also received some news I have been dreading to hear. I carry the hereditary cancer gene (BRCA1) and I need to get healthy, especially before I have my preventative surgeries. I'm a walking time bomb and I want to beat the clock.

This forum has always been good to me. I need support and help to keep me accountable.

So with that, here I am, and here I go

Welcome back! I'm back as well after a long hiatus! Sorry to hear about your gene but knowledge is power! I have tons of cancer in my family, I often wonder about this. How did you go about getting tested? Anyways looking forward to seeing you around and supporting each other during our journeys!!
