Hello, I'm just starting out...
Hi! I'm Ashley, and I'm 33. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 kids, 5 and 1.
And I'm finally doing something about the weight I've gained since I got married and had kids. Luckily my husband is on this journey with me too. However, he's tall and carries his weight well. And when he sticks his mind to it, it comes off quickly. He's been up and down over the last 12 years. Myself as well, but it doesn't come off as quickly for me.
I started out at 213, and I'm done to 204 now since starting to eat better and workout this month.
I'm ready!

 I just started here yesterday myself.
I can so relate to the husband thing. My husband can decide to drop 25 pounds and I watch him shrink like wildfire... meanwhile I'm standing there gaining 5 pounds because I looked at a brownie and will take 3 weeks of hard labor and starvation to take it back off! AHH!
Best of luck meeting your goal, sounds like you're off to a great start!

I'm new here and looking for friends and motivation. I'm a 31 year old mom of 4 kids and have about 95 lbs to lose to reach my goal weight. Just thought I would say hi to everyone.

I'm new too! Unfortunately, my husband is not very motivated to lose the weight we gained together. I feel like I have no support at home, and I'm extremely frustrated!

I'm new too. Looks like there are a lot of us newbies. We can do this together. My husband loses weight incredibly easily too. He's actually really skinny now. Not me. I was when we met. After almost 8 years of marriage, my weight has been creeping up and up. Time to really do something about it. My husband is supportive, but it's hard for him to understand why I don't lose weight as easily as he does. So, I know I need more support too from others that struggle like I do. Welcome, SimoneOH. Hi my name is Melissa and I'm new to this..... Looking for support!!! Hard when all my friends are so thin and pretty, and I always look horribly fat compared to them.... They can't understand how I feel and my struggles.......

dejavugirl - our starting stats and life situation is almost exactly the same! My highest weight was 214, starting this at 203, 33 year old sahm to 3 kids, 10/6/4. Wishing you and everyone great luck on your journeys! Lets keep each other accountable
