Hopeful
We ALL have those fat day- where the weight loss seems to stop, the body has surpassed the body image (you're down heaps, but still see yourself as fat) and generally you feel "blah" about the whole thing. And I had the same problem this morning: saw the weight and went "how is it possible that I weigh 80.0 this morning and was only 80.2 last night!" (I can usually guess how much I'll lose when I get on the scale at 10pm). Stepped on it again and went with 79.8.
It's all about body image I think. We KNOW we're progressing either by looking at the number on the scale or having people say "wow, you've lost a lot of weight!", but the mind still sees the body as it did when you were at your heaviest; flappy nana arms, bulging thighs, a big tummy. You just have to reassure yourself that you ARE thinner, that you HAVE progressed and that you WILL continue to lose the weight.
I guarantee you'll feel better after a gym session; just wait for the endorphins to kick in. I'm about to go back in an hour to do the run and bike ride I wanted and felt strongly about doing this morning (I only did my strength training this morning).
