Inches lost as metric?

  • Hi All:

    I'm weight training 3x per week. While my scale isn't going down much, I have found big changes in my measurements (i.e., 2.5 inches off my bum and off my waist in one month!!)

    Would anyone be interested in a monthly thread posting measurements? For example, bust, waist, hips, bum and a thigh? I'm always looking for ways to keep myself motivated and focused. (i.e., not a lot of success with the "biggest loser" thread but loving the "monthly minutes exercised" thread)

    No worries if no takers on this. Just putting it out there.

  • I think measurements are a very important way to see progress. I would be willing to participate in order to keep things in check. I do well with being required to "check in". I makes me be good... Heh.

    Here's me with Feb starting measurement changes in (parens). I'm a "pear"!

    Bust:36.25 (no change - sigh, sometimes I miss the preggo/nursing girls)
    Waist:34.5 (-2.5 inches)
    Hips: 40.75 (-.75)
    Bum: 44.5 (-2.5)
    R. Thigh: 27.75 (-.25)

  • I'd be keen. I'll post a measure up later today. I'd be keen to see how my body changes while I'm not really paying attention.
