So, I got on here yesterday and vented my frustration at my lack of focus on being healthy since my daughter's brain surgery. Needed some motivation to get re-focused. Then I weighed in this morning and still had lost 1 1/4 pounds last week!! I am so excited and that was all the motivation I needed! I am excited again to be healthy and get this weight off!!

Thanks to all for your support and ideas to get me back on track. This is awesome!

nknape, Yay you! We were told last April that my 16 yo DD would need a heart trasnplant. It takes over your world and everything else gets pushed aside while their health becomes your focus. We had tons of people praying for my DD and God healed her heart. (awesome, huh?) That was in August. It took until December for me to jump back on the "get healthy" band wagon. Good for you and rebounding so quickly! I'm really thrilled that your DD is good now too. If you need a kick in the butt or just a WTG!! this is a great place to find it.

Way to go! It's awfully hard to take care of yourself when you're working so hard to take care of a loved one. You should be very proud of your accomplishment!
