Default New Year Improvements...

Hi Ladies! I agree with Mollz, bugger the resolutions!

I don't like to make New Year Resolutions, I like to make New Year Improvements. What New Year Improvements do you want to make?

The improvements I want to make this year are too...

1. Continue my journey of becoming lighter via losing my final 27lbs. Currently lost 83lbs total.
2. Become stronger and leaner by working with weights more(start using kettlebells) and my own body ...weight(yoga) and other bodyweight exercises I am curretly too weak for.
3. Get a perm job in my field. Been a temp since 5/4/09 at my current organization, will be checking in with my recruiters on Jan 4 if I don't hear about being perm by then.
4. Get back to school. Once I have a perm job with benefits(namely tution reimbursment).
5. Get back to playing my violin regularly again. Can't afford lessons, but can perfect what I do know.
6. Meet new fitness & healthy minded friends.
7. Slowly start to replace all my plastic food storage containers with glass, stonewear or ceramic. A one time $$ investment.

Great idea! I've never been a New Year Resolution kinda gal. But I do like to set goals - so here goes.

1. Learn more about canning and freezing of fresh produce.
2. Increase the size of my garden this year.
3. Continue baking our bread, learn how to do it better.
4. Practice talking less.
5. Take the kids back to the YMCA - they love it!

I`ve been thinking about that one for a wee while now, and that`s what I came up with so far:

1. continue job hunting, but be selective about where to apply
2. put in much more time for my homestudy course (been so lazy recently)
3. maintain weight or lose more, but definitely not gain
4. be more assertive rather than waiting for things to go out of hand
5. save more money

wow...this isn't easy.
1. I don't want to be obese anymore!
2. Get down to my goal weight
3. Save money (my goal for the year is $5k)
4. Learn how to plan ahead more (plan meal, work outs, schedule
5. Be a better mom!
