30's Biggest Loser Sign-Ups
Hey everyone,
I hope it's okay that I start this thread... If you want to sign up and compete to be the 30-something's Biggest Loser do it here! Give your starting weight here, and we will compete from now until the 31st of December - does that sound good? Since this is an experiment I would say that you can sign up whenever you want and I'll add you to the list, but sign up sooner so you can compete longer! We will compete as individuals, and obviously whoever loses the most weight will be The Biggest Loser :D Should we try to weigh in once a week? Are there any thoughts as to what would the best day to weigh in? This should be fun!! I'll be starting at 153.8 :) |

Okay I've added everyone else who's posted. So let's say Thursday's will be weigh-in days then :) If you don't want to weigh in this Thursday I don't think it is a big deal since we are starting so close to it anyway.

i weighed in today and my weight is 230

I forgot today was weigh in day!! I weighed in at 180.5 on Sunday & today at 179. 1.5 lbs in 5 days is ok with me.

Thursday Dec 10th: 198 I gotta say that weighing on Thursday is going against my grain. My starting weight was on Monday so I'm pretty happy with the .8 loss. :D Maybe a bit more, hopefully by next Thursday! |

I want to join, but I don't have my weight. I'm actually afraid to get on my scale. Honestly, it NEVER says the same thing. I can step on it 10 different times and get 10 different weights. My house is so NOT level!
Should I weigh in at the gym? I've always thought that might be a good place to keep a running tally, but I've seen people "mess" with the scale, so I wasn't sure. |
I weighed in last Sat at 206 for some reason- went up about 3 pounds! UGH... anyway, hoping to be back near 203 on weigh in day (Thursday).

It's probably too late for me to sign up (if not, I'm at 185.6 today), but I was wondering....are you going to go by pounds lost or by percentage lost, like on the show? Just curious. :)

Okay, sorry to have stepped away from this thread for the last few days! I have added everyone up to this point that has asked, you too luckymommy.
I figured since we are just trying this out we can just go for pounds lost right now. I suppose if there is enough interest in keeping it going after December then we can have a vote or something as to weigh in days, pounds vs. %, all that good stuff. I'm all for doing %s if that's what everyone wants, just maybe not this time around as I don't feel prepared :lol: That said, I'm looking forward to this coming weigh in and getting some results posted as to where everyone is at and who's in the lead :) |

Passionista we are just doing this one in here for the 30 something's group. I think you posted on the thread in the actual Biggest Loser forum, just from looking at your posts.
