I'm so excited
I'm so excited. I just joined today and can't wait to be able to communicate with people going through the same things that I have been. A few weeks ago, I decided to start clean eating. My main motivation is my two boys. I want to be a healthy mom who can run around and play with her kids. Has anyone had any good results with clean eating? I would love to discuss clean eating with anyone.

I've always been curious, what exactly is "clean eating"? Is it like vegetarianism? Or being vegan? Or just healthy eating/ I'm new here too, and am excited to get to learn new things. I've heard the term before, I just don't quite know what it means. Thank you!!!

I don't know what is meant by "clean eating" but I eat with what I call a "focus" on whole foods. (I have some favorite lowcal processed foods that I continue to enjoy).
You may find that just switching to healthy foods works for you, but I need to count calories. If I don't count calories, I gain weight even eating healthy foods. But I am able to lose weight without too much trouble when I am counting (and journaling). Anyway, find the changes that work for you. Good luck, and :welcome2: ! |
Welcome xraygirl! We have a whole foods forum here, which I believe is what "clean eating" is all about! Go check it out!

When I describe clean eating, I pretty much sum it up as eating foods found in nature, not eating things made by man. Pretty much trying to eat food in a natural state, organic, not processed. I try to stick to this as much as possible.
