Morning all...just stopping by before work. Hopefully things go well today...will probably be busy. Have to go in a few min early because i didn't get my medical notes typed in last night...so i need to do it before work starts. I didn't want to stay any later..it was already 8pm before i got down with all the patients.

Hope everyone enjoys their day.

lisa- hope the weather gets better..spring is almost here.

Hey all,

GG, hope your day is productive. We are having a "Pre-Easter" sale and with all the snow I am just hoping that people come out.

Have a good day everyone. I will check back after work.

Pam good for you! Hope you're not having too much pain!

Thanks for the reminder, I was thinking about Joan yesterday when I saw the floods on TV. Hope she's not stuck in it!

Hi everyone ~ thanks for thinking of me! You guys are the BEST. Thankfully, we're fine here in our neighborhood. We sit up very high but the flooding is terrible within 10 miles from here. They've shut down the highway that DH uses to take to work. It's a major highway and large parts of it are covered with water.

I've been MIA these past few days and have been busy with the kids. Spring Break is coming to a close:-(. I'm not ready for Monday... I was also w/o a computer keyboard for a couple of days. One of the little darlings spilled milk on it... DH tried to revive it but he had to go out and buy a new keyboard.

Thanks for thinking of me. Happy Easter to all ~ Joan

Lauren, I know that I have slacked off in the miles, but I did 7 this week by moving fixtures and putting out stock. I look for a lot of miles next week too. All the clothes on the dock are going to be put out.

Well, they let me come home early today. I had close to 40 hours and there was no business (I get paid more than the other ladies in my department). I don't mind I had my 32 that I was guarenteed. Plus I hate it when it is stinking slow.

Off to check more sites.

Hi everyone!

Our houseguest arrived from college late Thursday night. She babysat for us last night, so we went to a movie. I had not been to one for over a year in a theatre! Today we took her to the Mall of America. Lots of people there with spring break and all. It is just us and our friend for dinner tomorrow after church. We will have family here in two weeks for DS's 2nd birthday.

GG - I am glad that work is going better for you and that some things got resolved at the staff meeting.
Christina - it sounds like Dominic is doing well...have a great day tomorrow. Did little Mario enjoy the egg hunt? Tai went to one last week and loved it.
Pam - Do you have more bellydancing classes to go to? I have a new Cardio Bellydancing DVD that I need to try yet - we have had company, so not something I need to try with an audience!
Joan - glad to hear that you are ok. Great job on the miles this week. How did you suvive without a computer for two days?? lol
Lisa - enjoy your afternoon off. Sounds like you have had a busy week there otherwise moving stuff around, etc.
Lauren - I am at 19 miles for the week. I am sorry that you were awake so early this a.m. - aren't those fun mornings??

Welcome to all of the newbies.
Have a great Easter everyone!

Just peeking my head in to say Hi. I posted an introduction thread down the page some, but wanted to post here and make myself known... so to speak. Very daunting posting on a thread like this for the first time, you know?? lol ...

So.... hope everyone has a fabulous weekend I'll be on tomorrow and will post more then, although we're putting up a fence in the back yard so it'll be snatched moments most likely.

Happy Easter!!!

Welcome petstafford! I am new also.

It sounds like all of you have had a busy week! And you are running a lot!! That is so awesome. I am not to the running point yet, but would love to eventually. I loved to run in high school, but have not since.

Our day was rather laid back. We so rarely go to movies, but went to see College Roadtrip. It was just so-so, IMO.

This morning, my excitement level was high when I found a cute pair of size 12 DKNY jeans at a resale shop for $3. At this large resale place, there are always good finds, yet the place is sort of dirty. So on the occasions I have bought clothing there, I don't try it on. I just eye it up close and hope for a good fit once I have washed them. I figured them to be small, but they fit perfectly. So, I will have a little bit of time with them. Hopefully will need a belt with them soon!

I love buying used, but I think that is part of what made me let my weight get higher. Since I can't pick and choose sizes at rummage sales, I bought a size or two larger than I normally would wear on several occasions. So, when the extra pounds added up, I had pants that fit. Oh, that worked so well with my denial! Four years ago, I would never have considered a 14 at a rummage sale. Last summer finding a size 14 was a great find. I think I would have been harder on myself if I was out paying retail for bigger sizes. But that is just part of it.

We had to go to a child's birthday party at lunch time and I knew that there would be high fat foods. I was o.k. with that. I knew that I would eat small portions and of course, skip the cake. Well sloppy joes were the only option and I got myself one, and could not figure out why there was a large "pool" of liquid at the top as the mixture was in the crock pot. Well, after I thought about it for a while, I realized that she did not drain the fat from the meat! Disgusting.

Have a great, happy, safe Easter.

lauren: i just did my run for today..would you change my hours for this week to 11..if you have already done it no worries

dawn: dominic is doing well...he seems so much happier with life now..its a huge change from before...people we have known forever even comment on when they talk to him they can just tell he seems genuinely happy...little mario like the 2 hunts we went to..there is one more we are going to tomorrow...he is getting the hang of it...both we went to were great..im glad tai had a great time too

moto: walking leads to running...i used to only walk....i have a tv in the garage with my treadmill...then i started running on the commercials..then i would run during whatever show i was watching and walk on the commercials...now i just run..i worked up to it...you will too..keep working on it!

ok all...i have to take a shower and get ready..gotta get dom from work in about an hour..have a nice evening!
