Alicia...yup, he's the singer/lead guitar...used to be a popular local band, now they just kind of get together once a month or so...you can find them on my myspace page...I'll msg. you with it.
Lauren, praying that your mom will be well enough to come home soon, and that this will be the LAST of her ailments!! Hey Jasmine!! alright, girls, gotta go add up my reciepts like I planned. Oh, guess what? I didn't buy the cupcake tower. Instead, I researched it a little more, and found that I can use cake (separator plates) and pillars and just put together my own instead. I just hope it's going to be sturdy enough...it should be. And it's only gonna cost me 20.00 instead of 60.00..YAY ME!! |
Evening Ladies,
I had a lazy day today. I didn't do a whole lot. I took a nap. Finished a book and am getting ready to finish the one that I took to Urgent Care with me yesterday and read over 100 pages in it waiting for them to see my sdd. Watch a little tv and then go to bed. Did do the dishes three times today, and some laundry so I guess I didn't neglect my household duties that much. Alicia so what did you get for birthday? Hope you got a lot done at home today in preparation for your brother's visit next weekend. Lauren thanks for the update on your mom. I will continue to say prayers for her to have a speedy recovery. I know what you mean about posting during the day. I sneak in my visits on my computer at school and read the posts. Sometimes I am able to sneak in a post or two, but I am always afraid that my boss or someone else will come in and see me on 3fatchicks and question me. Pam glad your family enjoyed HSM. I haven't seen it yet. The kids at school love it and my stepkids liked it. I might just have to rent it sometime to watch it. Hope your homemade cupcake tower is sturdy enough. It sure would save you $40.00. Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all having a great weekend! I need to go and check on the boys. They are alittle too quiet. Don't know what they could be up to. They have been hyper all day long. Have a great evening! Take care, Kerry |
Hello ladies! I'm fighting some major discouragement right about now, but I'ma try to be cheery for a sec and say hallo!
Trish: you must indulge us on how to make those pumpkin muffins - I adore pumpkin :D Pam: good luck with that cream :D My mom uses Signature Club A and a couple other kinds and swears by it....her looks prove it too, she still looks in her thirties and she's twenty years senior :D I think she gets it off the net. Well as far as my late bedtime, I'm weird like that....I can be so dawg tired on the weekend, but if I restrict myself to going to bed at a decent hour, I guess the weekend seems to like totally go so fast, and it makes it seem like it lasts longer LOL. My kids are old enough to keep themselves happy and fed in the mornings, so I have a luxury I didn't have when they were little turds. 'Course now they are BIG turds, LMAO. but I love em just the same. Julia: You are gonna LOVE turkey sausage mmmm. So good. IMO so much better than beef. I have a flavor injector, so I put things like goat cheese or jalapenos or roasted garlic in that and then stick it in the turkey sausage :D That keeps the variety up a bit. Or I'll just put a can of rotel in with some whole wheat pasta and sliced turkey sausage and let that stew a bit for an easy meal. Wonderful. Jasmine, how fun! I live in Old Town Spring, and it's set up just like the 1800s...stores line the streets all in little dollhouse-looking shops, everything is homemade...blankets, candles, all kindsa stuff. It's like steppin back in time :D Diana: Well as long as you ate enough chinese for all of us to share, then that's okay LMAO j/k :D Think of it as your treat....there, doesn't that feel better? Okay maybe not :P Hang in there girlie! Lauren: So glad to hear your mom's feeling better, I really hope she's out of the woods soon. How have you been holdin' up? Joan: Wussup girl - how are you? Lisa: Been there done that hahaha...I am a big reader too, mainly inspirational stuff. How sweet of you to fly to your friend's rescue, sure hope she's dealing okay, that's gotta be so very tough to go through. Megan: It's all part of the mommy thing, yea? too bad your little one's under the weather. this time of year is so brutal. I sure hope she will be on the up and up soon :D Kerry: well we watched Good Luck Chuck and Wedding Days, they were pretty good. Not hilariously funny, but good storylines. :D Is Troy any good? Tam: Hoorahhhh! You're in the cool group now that has a puter :carrot: LOL! That has got to be so exciting. :D Chela: Best way I can think of is to work up a sweat hahaha. turn up the radio and start dancin or slide in a dvd of some salsa aerobics :D Or you can do yard work. :D Okay maybe not that exciting hahaha. Or you can get those Crystal Light thingys that you use for water bottles, or make it a rule that before each meal and snack ya hafta drink a full glass of water. :so not a water fan either: Dawn: Hallooooooo girlie girl :D Beach: wii party sounds fun :avid gamer here: Pictionary + watermelon Smirnoffs = FUN TIME :carrot: ROTFLMAO well it is :D Or you can have Pictionary minus the melon + kids happily occupied = still fun hahaha. that's what we did over thanksgiving. My sister, now that she's married, has a houseful during holidays. Her husband has a HUGE family, tons of kids, so it's always somethin interesting. Lauren: No miles for me - been cramping something awful, which is why I'm angry at Aunt flow :I'm a week late: and no I'm not pg. Not ready for that yet.... Whew. Well wasn't as cheery as I woulda hoped. I was sleepy but couldn't take a nap today cause the boys were being L-O-U-D. Stayed on plan yada yada yada. Weight still stuck, and no sign of the red witch. <|:> I guess I'm just a little discouraged cause, it's like, it seems like I'll never get there. Seems like such a big mountain to climb, and I don't know why, but today I've just been in this mood, this terrible thinking :yes I know, shame shame: that no matter what I do I will never get there. do you ever feel like that? I mean, not that you give up or you'll stop trying, but do you ever think that? Or am I like totally bonkers here.... And to top it all off, knowing there is people out there who no matter what they do can't lose the weight, and then again I read that as long as there's a deficit and you're eating healthy and all, you'll lose weight. So I think "contradictory just a LITTLE" right. I'm losing my mind. and I'm hungry. So I think I'll close my piehole and let you all give me your wisdom. :D take care!!!! |
Holli, we all get discouraged at times. I know what you mean. Some days I have to take it an hour at a time. (usually on my days off) I also have noticed that if the weather has been yucky, gray, overcast and rainy for several days that makes a diference on how I feel and what I eat.
Well it looks like I will be in my new department a week from today. I am excited about it, kinda nervous though too. Wish me luck. Lisa |
