To the ladies in Cali, please be safe and smart. I will be praying for you.
Last night I came home from work about 6, had dinner and laid down to take a nap ~ about 7 hours later (@ 1:30) I woke up feeling very refreshed. I still will go lay back down for a little bit after I finish checking my mail, just wanted to see what the news was.
I have been thinking of you so much the past few days. I am praying you and your family make it out of this safe. Im a little angry. Feels like you have been through enough lately. You dont need this added stress on top of everything else. I am here to talk anytime!!! I will PM you mu cell number - best way to get ahold of me- in case you need to talk!!
Lois - sorry to hear new walking bud isn't really working out. I wish i too had someone to go workout with...however, i think i'd have trouble finding someone with my screwy schedule.
hannah.- you are in my thoughts. hope you are ok

good morning..quick post today..getting ready to run out the door...well...ive heard more people were evacuated in southern ca...we are about 7-8 hours away...i also heard they are starting to bring people up here..not sure where or why..i also heard we sent more firefighters and chp down to help...i hope everyone from here is safe...
Yup, it's a rainy, dreary day here today. We were supposed to go on a hayride/pumpkin picking expedition today but I canceled. Slogging through the mud does not sound like fun. Especially with Alex who would be jumping in every mud pile and water puddle he found. Cassie would be right behind him too!
Hanna: I have to agree with Laurie I do think you have been through enough but I guess that is not our decision so I will keep praying for you and your family. Stay safe girl.
KarenK: That doesn't sound like fun tromping through the mud, heck those are the days I miss. Trust me they go by so fast you are going to be sitting there going ahh crap a little mud never hurt anyone. Or better yet put a good movie on with some popcorn you guys can still have fun.
Christina: Well maybe they are sending them twards your way for clean air. I can't imagine the people with asmtha what they are going through. Have a fun time today what ever you are up too.
Lisa: You know I do that too every now and then and I enjoy that it doesn't happen all the time but enough lately. Last night I was in bed by 7:30.
GG: You know girl I have to tease you some what.......You have to get ready for word? What the h_*% is word? I bet you meant work hu! LOL I hope your day is good. To be honest I don't think I could handle a walking buddy either.
Well all I just got a call from the governor and department of ed out of cheyenne with my son. I am really ticked about the law and so I am working to get it changed. Got to go..............
Sheila, are you still in the Volley Ball group? Just wondering how that was going.
Laurie, I saw you wrote something in another thread about a Low fat pumpkin cheesecake. Could you post the recipe on the 30's recipe thread? I love pumpkin cheesecake.
It's been raining here all day today, looks like it may for a few days. Sooo, doesn't look like I will get any walking in any way. I have to go back to the DR tomorrow for my lupus and see if the meds have worked to his liking. I decided not to get my meds refilled yet (generic costs $60 without having insurance now). Didn't want to pay that much then have him switch me or something.
Well all gonna go, may try and do some reading tonite. Talk later.
Alicia
hi everyone!
We are safe for now, the fires are still burring near by. The air quality is horrible, I am still packed, all the stuff is in the car just in case we need to leave, I am very scared, this is terrible, there are a lot of people w/our homes, I feel very bad for all of them.
Thank you all for your very thoughtful messages, I appreciate it. MIL and FIL are still here w/their dog, my littlest dude doesn't like him, he keeps hiding and bitting his nose, it is pretty funny, they have kept us entertained, the neighbors have been great, we all go together last night as ate dinner at some ones garage, everyone here is awesome. A lot of people in the neighborhood have people that had mandatory evacuations, they don't know yet is their houses r still standing. I can't even imagine.
I got to go, they are calling me downstairs.
I will keep you all posted.
Hugs!
GG, I know what you mean about hitting the wall, that was me on Sunday. Tomorrow is day 11 for me. I think thats why I slept so long last night. I did fall right back to sleep and woke up at 7am.
Hanna, I heard that someone who was visiting Vegas turned on the news in their hotel room and saw their own house burn to the ground. They said it was soo surreal. Please stay safe.
Sheila, what law has you so upset? Not to be nosy or anything, just curious.
