GG, I take a multi and extra calcium (cuz i have cut way back on my beloved dairy). It does make me feel healthier to take it. I dont know if I feel more energy though. I also take green tea suppliments. This is supposed to increase your resting metabolism by 5-10%. Its not much of a difference but every bit counts.

GG ~ could you be pregnant? My first indication of being pregnant was feeling really, really tired. I know that you'd like to wait a few years but these things happen.... ;-).

Yo Laurie ~ Mornin' Girlfriend! I only take two vitamins each day; a multivitamin and extra calcium. Like you, I've cut way back on dairy:-(. Plus, this medicine that I'm taking for my skin is so hard my bones. Everything that I read says that it's a temporary thing and that as soon as I'm off of the medicine (about six weeks left) I'll be fine. I can't help but wonder though...

Christina ~ it's good to hear from you. This new job sounds like it will be an exciting challenge. Best of luck to you! Please give MO our kindest regards. I hope that she's doing ok.

Kerri ~ I got your PM about Kettles and Kegs. It sounds like fun and I thank you for taking the time to send me a note. Unfortunately, that is my daughter's birthday so I won't be able to go. By the way, excellent news to hear that you exercised. Slow and steady wins the race.

Kerry ~ smart lady to not drink much and come home at a decent hour. That is funny that the party didn't start until 9:00 p.m. I haven't gone to a party that late since college. These days that would kill me and probably take me a whole week to recover LOL.

Michelle ~ YOU GO GIRL!! Taking this time to get yourself in shape for your November reunion is awesome. How are you doing with the drinking? We're all thinking of you and cheering you on.

Alicia ~ hang in there honey. Another move for you and kids has to be so stressful. Big hug ....

Lauren, Lisa (enjoy your weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), KarenK, Pam, BJ, RoosterDude, blue, reality ~ TGIF.

Tonight is Homecoming at the high school. They close our street for 2 hours this evening for the parade. I'm excited to see it as this is a huge deal around here. People are telling us that the kids get more candy than they do at Halloween. Great... I'm just hoping that it's all sweetarts, nerds and smarties (crap candy). No chocolate or I'll be dipping into it LOL. I invited two other families over that live on side streets. I normally have enough food to feed an army but it's so unnecessary (not to mention unhealthy). I might make up a pot of chili later today if I have the time.

Later Gators ~ Joan

Good afternoon everyone! Everything is going pretty well here. Took a sneak peek at the scale just to guage my progress, it read 291! I 'WOOOHOOOO'ed & decided that I could actually LEAVE the 290's behind by Monday if I watch what I am doing. OMG, how exciting. Even if I am still in the 290, so long as I lose SOMETHING, I will be thrilled, but I really believe 280-ANYTHING is absolutely possible! It is great that something is FINALLY working for me. Never thought counting calories could work for me, always seemed like it was too much aggravation, but thanks to the great sites on the internet, it is sooooo easy. LOVE that! I used to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dairy Queens' French Vanilla Moolatte, until I saw how many calories were in it....almost EIGHT HUNDRED! ACK!! I'd have never believed that. Needless to say, the moolatte is no longer in my life. Not to mention finding this forum has made a WORLD of difference in my attitude & motivation.
Hope everyone is having a great day!

Joan that sounds like so much fun, a parade right on your street. I wonder too about the meds and how long after you stop will your joints stop aching. Did the joint pain start immediately after you started?

John, wherever you're going have a great 3 days off, you deserve some r&r.

realitymom, congrats on the weight loss. The 280's are right there, yipee!!

Christina, I hope that you enjoy your new job. I know who we work with really affects the job that we do.

I have a question, I don't know if its the 3fc's website or something dh put on my computer but...certain words are double underlined. If I run the mouse over them something pops up. Like multivitamin. That word is double underlined. Any one else?

Well all I will check back later, I have no plans for the weekend. Just gonna take it easy I guess.

Talk later, Alicia

Grats reality!!

Joan- yes, yes I do. everytime I get an award at work I never get it at the award meetings and what not cause I'm out there working lol.

3.5 hrs to go.

Alicia- headed down to my mom's to see her and go to hollow scream at bush gardens. I may even go over to the beach as well.

An its adversting for the website thats why the words are underlined. pop up blockers and anitvirus normally stop it.

Mine are double underlined too with little pop-ups that happen if I mouse over them. It's only on this site, so I am assuming it's a 3fc thing. Maybe it goes away if we pay for the site???

John, I see we were posting at the same time. I have anti-virus, anti-spyware, pop-up blockers and a firewall. I still have the lines, just on 3fc though. I just don't mouse over the double lines anymore.

Good afternoon all!

Well, I got on the scale this AM and NOTHING!!! I am eating less than 1500 calories a day (which is what I usually try to do), working out (usually an hour of the firm) 6 days a week for 6 weeks, and still NOTHING!!! GRRR!!! I was convinced that if I got the IUD removed things would change. My Dr. told me to give it 2 months, then she wants ot get my thyroid checked. It's driving me nuts. I get up at 5 am to exercise (I actually enjoy it, and the kids are still asleep), and NOTHING!! Well, maybe I need to cut my calories more, I guess...

Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Joan, it sounds like you have a really fun night in store. I love parades, and the fact that it's right on your street is awesome!!!

DH & I are going to have a few beers & a fire pit with the kids in the back yard tonight, going to dinner with friends tomorrow. The kids are sleeping over at a friend's so it will be a really great weekend!!

TAke care, all. I might not get on til monday.

Pam

BTW...If any of you have ideas how I can get the scale moving, I'd love to hear them. Everything that used to work for me does not seem to be cutting it this time!!

Alicia, do you mean within posts, or in banners and such? It might be an advertising thing...I can check with Suzanne if you want.

John, I have 2007 season passes, do you know if I can use them for the Hallow Scream? Or would I have to buy new tickets?

I just never saw the words underlined before today...Is today the first day youv'e seen it?

Sheila yes we are all TIRED!!!!

Pam give it some time, you just had the UID taken out. Maybe try lowering the calories slightly, not to much though.

Talk later, Alicia
