RR - yep they have gall bladders...unusual for it to rupture. Must have been an ongoing problems (ie clogged duct). Sorry to hear that...but ruptured gall bladders don't do well.

Just a quick hi..nothing really exciting. Back to work today. Feeling pretty good. Found a few suggestions on line the other day (they were from a dr.) about ways to deal with my darn heel spur that has really been hurting quite badly. Sort of a downfall is they recommend rest (ie no exercise) but they also recommend weight loss. So i've chose the weight loss route and if bothering too bad, i lay off exercise for a few days...but i've been icing it twice daily and doing anti-inflammatories twice daily and its been helping a lot. I didn't have to hobble down the stairs this am. Next i'm going to look into a splint they recommend to wear at night. My poor DH....first i got a night guard for my jaw that i wear to bed, now a splint...boy how sexy i must look at night LMAO. Alright guys...got to run. Have a great day!!!!

Hi All,

Sheila, Enjoying the new machine, I see!

GG, Poor DH! I'm sure he'll get over it!

RR, You are such a nurse!! Hope you can find a ped you are happy with. I'll post an update on Robby up in the Kid's thread.

Heather, John, Kerry, Kerri, Michelle, Laurie

Hanna, How did it go yesterday with the pictures? There's a website someone gave me, I'll see if I can find it. It has pics for all sorts of activities. Here it is: http://www.do2learn.com/.

Lisa, so it' a management job? Awesome! Hope you get it! You know, when we move I will not have a convenient DD to go to, so I will probably be forced to make coffee at home and bring it. I did see something not that long ago about DD being sold in BJ's, so I will have to look into that.

Roo, Nice to see you anyway!

Heather, some of the "red flags" they mentioned are: flapping hands/arms (like he's gonna fly), toe-walking, lack of eye contact. I'm sure there were others, just can't think of them.

OK, off to research cars for mom. Have to take her to the dr. later, then car shopping.

Hi All!

Too funny about the sexy nightwear!!! Im thinking I might need a night guard too. Going to see the dentist next week. UGGG!

I had a good day yesterday. Worked out, ate really right, played with kids, and cleaned my house. I am starting to remember what all this energy feels like.

I own a small shop in a little center and Im good friends with the other owners. One of them got her wallet stolen this weekend. I guess 2 guys came in and one asked to see some things in another room while the other took her wallet. She is so upset. I cant believe it. I dont think I have had anyone steal from be yet but I can imagine it feels so different if it is your personal things and not store merchandise. I feel so bad for her!! I guess we are going to install cameras but I am not sure how well they will work. I will have to keep my open and keep better track of my things.

Great to hear about your espresso machine!! I bought one for my husband last year cuz he loves starbucks and he doesnt use his and much as I would like. Hope you get more use out of yours!!

Well, gottal go!! Check in with you all later...

Laurie

BTW,

Lauren, Im new here. I hope you dont mind my asking but what is going on with your little boy? We are in the process of finalizing an adoption of our little girl. Doctors say she is right on target but I think that something might be wrong. She has VERY little eye contact. So worries me!! I am thinking about bringing her to our doctor and paying for it. (We have to go with the doctors that they give us cuz she is still technically a ward of the state).

Hello everyone,

Someone has gotten my kids nighttime routines mixed up and I am paying for it. Sat. night they went to sleep then woke up at midnight and didn't go back to sleep for a couple of hours. Sun night we went to bed early and girlie was up at 2. Then I couldn't go back to sleep. Last night Alex came in our bed at midnight and proceeded to flip, flop, and fling himself around. I moved to his bed, but was not able to sleep. I've been in a fog most of the day. I'm going to have to go see if I can find some caffeine somewhere in the house.

RR/Joan/Lauren: We all have kiddos the same age, going to school next year. I feel sorta sad and sorta excited. Alex is so excited about going to school. He's already reading (simple stuff) and doing simple math. His hard thing is going to be the social aspect. He just doesn't get to be around other kids enough.

John: Hope you had a better day today! Not so boring!

Hanna: That so sucks about the hospital. I hope you are able to get into a routine and that it will help your son to know what is coming next.

Lisa/Lauren: Good luck on the job interviews!

Lauren: Try a perculator (sp?) for your coffee. I bought DH one for Christmas and he loves it. It's super quick and he says it makes the best coffee. He's using cheapo Wegman's coffee right now. He says it's the best after DD.

I know there's someone I'm missing, but I can't remember who! :wave to whoever/whomever it is I missed. Darn quick reply window!

I hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

Laurie, there is a way that you can tell if anyone else is on. In the lower left hand corner of the box with the name there is an egg. If there is yellow in the center it means that they are on this site.

DOE police pay well if he's got law enforcement or military back ground. Tho not sure if they have any facilities around you.

Day has been productive wouldn't say busy but productive. I drove for the first 2hrs of work today.

Lost out on the side job at the liquir store oh well I got plenty of copper and steel here at work to scrap.

Was thinking of you all with kids today as mattel recalled over 9 million toys going back 5 years. Diecast cars have lead based paint and polly pockets for magnets that can come out and if swollowed can do damage.

A van hit 5 construction guys yesterday 1 die at the scene another died today at the hospital. The driver and passangers jumped out of the van the hit the men and ran on foot. The driver of the van turned himself into police today. Had no licence and is here in the counrty illegally. I find the story interesting because I work around cars all day been hit twice while working all it takes is one person not paying attention for someone to get hurt.

Another lady was walking with her 16 y/o daughter a car came speeding at them and the woman pushed her daughter out of the way but she couldn't get out of the way and was hit and sent into oncoming traffic and she she was hit again by another can. The 1st car to hit her drove away.

hey all..work went well today...very busy so it kept us on our toes all day. I like when work is steady and the day flies by. But definately having to get back in the swing of things...i'm worn out today
sheila - yeah on the machine...i live by mine. Every morning i make a cup. If you use the right coffee, you need very little extras.
LBH- dh doesn't seem to mind the sexy night wear LMAO...so far he has no problem being attracted to me LOL
laurie- the night guard has been well worth the money. I have had few migranes and achy jaw since i've gotten the night guard. btw...do you work at a wine shop???? that would be horrible for me LOL...i love wine
karen -hope your kids figure out their sleep schedule soon
Michelle- my thoughts are with you..hopefully your DH will find a job soon..it must be tough. Hang in there...
wow john- those stories suck... but i've heard many of them before..its sad that more ppl don't pay attention.
Christina - glad to hear about dominick. DH will be here for good on friday...i can't wait. The house is lonely without him.
