Default I'm new here


Hi there. I weighed 200 pounds a few weeks ago and it scared me. I have never been this fat in my life, but after all I've been through since 9/11, I'm not surprised that I've gotten here. But now that I'm in a safe, happy place in my life, I really want to get myself back.
Can you all help? I've tried dieting. I want to exercise and eat healthy. I want to cut out sugar from my life. I'm addicted to it.
Thanks for being here ladies. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this.

I read your post, and I just hit 200 myself. I am only 5'2" so you can just imagine! I am trying to find the right program and a lot of motivation. I hope we can support each other along the way.

Good morning Jen,

Can't wait to "meet" you and hear about what changes you are making in your life to have a happier, healthier, longer life.

Do you have a plan yet? Do you journal your daily food intake? Water?

Come to the daily thread and tell us all about what you're looking for and I'm sure someone will be able to support you with the early changes.

Also, go and look at the goal thread and photo album...it's so incredibly inspiring!
