Oh, my dear Dek6! PLEASE don't be discouraged. This first month under your belt shows that you can do something that you have to do for the rest of your life. You have to give yourself at least 6 months before you make a transformation that will make you excited. I worked out for a year, 3-4 times a week, without really noticing much. I was not dieting much, and just building up a cardiovascular and psychological foundation. Forming the habit, and getting used to all the equipment. Sometimes I would just have a sauna. Results can aways be varied by diet and intensity, but take it easy on yourself! Remember that this is something you are going to be doing for the rest of your life, and your body will be constantly adjusting, losing, maintaining, and recalibrating. This first month is a mere drop in the bucket. So take a more laid-back approach to it and embrace it as your proper lifestyle, not something you have to feverishly do for a short period of time.
