Default Have you ever had one of these weekends?

Don't know *what* the heck got in to me this weekend, but I was a furious hive of activity. Finished a quilt, rehung paintings, sealed the stove's rusting hood, painted parts of my walls doing touch-up, threw out or recycled a mass of kitchen clutter, cleaned the kitchen up thoroughly, bathed a dog, had dinner with mom/dad/sister/bro-in-law and baby, went to the gym, and finally collapsed last night at 9pm. I was so tired I couldn't even stay up to watch "Breaking Bad."

Whoever snuck over and put the speed in my morning coffee, thanks, but don't do it again. Don't think I'll survive another weekend like this...I'm just getting too old for such craziness.

Onwards and downwards,
Peep Smith (Jean)

Don't do it again??? WHAT? I LOVE weekends like this. It feels SO good! Looking at a few other threads of loneliness and despair this morning, it sounds like others would die for a weekend like yours. Isn't it funny how different we all are?

Yep, I totally agree...glad that I was so productive and still able to go to work today. It's all good.

Wow! I'm getting rather short of breath just reading that.
If it was something in your coffee, send some my way. I desperately want to do a major clean, but can't find the getup-and-go to do it.
doesn't it feel great to have gotten it all done though?
Good for you!

Sounds like a very productive and calorie burning weekend. I love when I get like that...just wish I always felt like I could take on the world.
