Make room on the loser's bench!
Today is my day!! finally! It's been a long trip, but it's finally happening for me because I am one determined woman!
I've been losing slowly but steadily since mid-summer. I'm ready to do more and ready to get to the point when I can join a gym again.
YAY ME!
Best wishes to all of us new to the Loser's Bench!

I'm so happy for you! I was banded on 7/15/08 and I'm down 71 pounds. Best decision I ever made. Going the surgery route really helped me take weight loss seriously.

I'm finally on the bench!
Surgery went great, everything is where it's supposed to be and I'm feeling pretty good. I learned how to give myself shots (lovenox
) Looking forward to a few days off work and taking some walks. Maybe I can start thinking about Christmas gifts, now. Thanks for all your support. We're awesome!
Guess I should get serious about a ticker, too

CONGRATS to you!!!! Hope you are doing well???!!! I was glad to hear that all went smoothly. I just came home yesterday and am fascinated reading all the posts from the other new patients. Please, Please keep us informed
I only had the lovenox in the hospital, and nothing for it after I got out. Is this not normal?

I had a DVT after my hysterectomy in '03 hence the lovenox. I don't think I'll have to go on coumiden once I'm done in 25 days. It's going to get old real quick.
