Thank you sooooooo much to all of you for the kind comments. They are all greatly appreciated! It's nice to hear that you look good, it helps to keep me motivated, I'm always trying to improve.

I'm not on any particular plan, I mean like a specific diet like Atkins or anything.
I workout five days per week, run for 30 mins, alternate days of lifting weights and sometimes do a little extra cardio on the elliptical or whatever takes my fancy for that day. I walk my dog a lot and swim a few times per week at my community pool.
I eat a very healthy diet consisting of lot's of fresh fruit and veggies and I drink around 12 glasses of water daily (I don't drink anything besides water, ever, well excluding a few beers about once a month). I consume around 1000-1200 calories per day, I've had many people tell me that this can't possibly be good for me but, I don't starve myself, I'm never hungry, I eat healthy well portioned meals and it just so happens that I eat so much fruit and veggies that it's all low in calories, ya know? I do eat grilled chicken daily and I eat whole grains and drink fat free milk in my protein shake. I've also consulted two doctors and a nutritionist and all have told me that consuming 1000-1200 is perfectly fine for me. Sorry if I seem defensive about this, it's just that I've had so many people jump down my throat about this matter.

P.s: As for the hair, I cut 9 inches off of it recently, I felt like I had to shed another part of the old me and it was a great decision!
