Default Counting Calorie?

I know everyone is different and counting calorie is based on your activity level, height, weight and so on... but I was just curious how much calorie is your daily goal, and how much work out do you all do? I'm thinking about starting on counting calories and I checked out caloriecount website, too...but it's kinda confusing...

taragettingthin -- You might want to check out the calorie counters forum, there's a lot of info there!

A lot of calorie counting really is individual, based on your weight, activity level, metabolism, etc. I started off near 300 pounds and was able to lose on 2000 calories/day, but lots of other people would gain weight at that level!

If you want to find out what works for you, start by counting how many calories you ARE eating for a few weeks, and see what happens with your weight. Do you stay the same? Lose? Gain? That will give you some info on what will work for you.
