  • Continue to focus on whole foods and fruit and vege
  • Do my absolute best to finish strong in the Unstuff Me - Thanksgiving Challenge

Oh wow.

Well having just started out, I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.

1. Successfully complete the Thanksgiving Challenge.
2. To solidify my food and exercise schedule.
3. To be more open with my (soontobe)DH about how I'm feeling about my weight (loss and gain), and get all of those confused emotions out. I hear it helps to talk about it
4. Tighten the money belt. I don't need this, and I don't need that. I need what's on my routine/schedule list
5. Get my Christmas cards made and ready to send by the beginning of December.

Good luck everyone!

Okay, so I spent like 10 minutes setting up my fitness challenge post, so I better dang well stick with it this time!!

1) Complete November Fitness Challenge. Fitness goals specifically are:
Strength 3x/week; Cardio 3x/week; 15 min stretching/day; 500 jumping jacks/week
2) Minimum 2 liters of water per day.
3) Stay between 1400-1600 calories per day, averaging closer to 1600 than 1400.
4) Focus on incorporating more lean protein into my diet.
5) Continue listening to my body, interpreting its needs and its signals.
6) No emotional eating. No binging. No mindless eating.
7) Weigh less. (I'd be happy with anything below 195, or at least 4lbs.)

I'm really pumped for November!

-Learn to weigh myself without weighing myself down
-Work on the inside, become more confident
-Complete November Fitness Challenge
-Balance my diet
-Oh yeah, no carbs, I need to be strong... No carbs

I gave myself two days to think about my goals.

* Complete November Fitness Challenge
* Reach 120 lbs (evening weight)
* Watch portion sizes (listen to tummy and stop when it's almost full), resist cravings
* Eat 6 small meals per day
* Organize home and office
* Set a schedule, plan and follow through
* Be more productive at work

My only goal for November is to maintain my weight from October without getting off track. Last November I had a terrible backslide so I would like to prevent that from happening again. Eating seems to be the easy part. The key ingredient in this is exercise. I have no excuse!

1) Only drink alcohol 1 night a week, and then only 2-3 drinks.
2) Work out 5 days a week (Cardio) and start adding strength training back in
3) Find fall/winter veggies to eat
4) Cut back on diet coke, and start SLEEPING instead of trying to replace sleep with caffeine
5) Go to all my classes and keep up with my work in them
