I had to put mine in the garage because all 3 of my kids (especially the 2 year old) would jump on me or the ball while I'm using it. It's a ball, what do you expect 3 young boys to do?
Well, I went out to the garage and dug it out...then blew it up. And now it's sitting in the extra room I'm think I'll use it on Monday while I watch Starting over. My nephews and niece came over today and asked if they could use it to exercise lol They know it's my exercise ball. The youngest used to get his big ball and "exercise" with me
I have a lot of trouble with my neck hurting when doing crunches. I found that the stability ball gives the best results with crunches. I had a trainer at the gym show me how to do them effectively, and WOW, I noticed a difference. Don't get me wrong, I didn't stick with it the way I should have. BUT...I didn't have any neck pain, and it was easier on my back. I know that I was working my abs, because I was feeling the pain after the first 3 or 4 workouts. I was to the point that I was doing 300 crunches every two days. I, as usual, lost the gumption, though...*sigh*
BACK TO WORK AGAIN!!!!!!
Just fyi for those who are interested....I found one at Walmart for like $11. I've had it for years and it's still great. It comes with a poster type thing with exercises for different body parts
