  • For the upcoming Christmas season, my family has been asking me what I want and I decided I want to get a few things associated with my weight loss (since it's such a big part of my life now). So far, I've been asking for gift cards, so I can shop for new clothes as I go down in size and don't have to spend my own money on it.

So, my question is what have you asked for or will ask for that is associated with your weight loss?
  • Ipod or something to play music on that I can wear at the gym...
  • A gift certificate to Academy (it's a sporting goods store).
I want gym clothes that fit me.
If the certificate is worth a lot then I also want those rubber resistance bands.
  • Last year i asked for one of those small stair steppers. It's fabulous and works wonders on your butt and thighs.

It was the sharper image kind and it cost about a hundred bucks.
  • I, so far, have asked for gift certificates so I can buy clothes when I get down to my goal (which hopefully will be not toooooo long after Christmas). If I didn't feel like I was asking for too much I would ask for one of those small stair steppers like trnsfrm mention, I also want a bosu ball (one of those 1/2 ball 1/2 platform things), and workout clothes (or gift certificates to get some).
  • I asked for an mp3 player, gift card for clothes, some workout videos, and a yoga mat/ball kit.
  • I asked for a digital food scale, workout clothes and a gift certificate to a shoe store (need some new cross trainers).
  • I asked for a stability ball and new clothes because mine are falling off! I all ready got some new pants but shirts are low too....I got an IPOD shuffle for my birthday and I love it on the treadmill! I would LOVE an elliptical but we just can't afford one right now

  • Some clothes and a personal trainer. Becuse i am stuck at the plateau and i cant seem to get off the number that i am currently on now.
  • I asked for a gift cert to my gym, it's only $30 a month, but if somebody wants to chip in . . . I also asked for a few sessions w/ a personal trainer. My mom has one and she's really great. And new clothes.
  • I asked for more dumbbell plates! I got the reply, "Only if you carry them home from the store..." No sweat!
  • I asked for a food scale, a book of 5 star cooking light recipes, some new CDs to work out to, new clothing (since I haven't really built up my wardrobe much since reaching goal), a wetsuit and fins for my new favorite hobby of scuba diving.
  • I just got the Nike Women's Holiday catalog in the mail, and I have already found workout clothes that I want. They are soooo cute. I wouldn't ask for them for Christmas, though; I'd just buy them myself. I don't really like to receive as much as give. But if somebody really wants to get me something, be my guest!

I got an mp3 player for my b-day in November. I love it to death! I already like walking/jogging in and of itself, but listening to music makes the time go by soooo much quicker.
  • I just bargained with my husband to let me buy a Christmas present for myself early--a heart rate monitor. It's great!
  • I haven't asked for anything, but if you don't have a good scale I think a Tanita scale is a good gift. They have so many different variety's and they are really accurate. Also some other good gifts are pedometer, free weights, the strength bands, exercise ball, magazine subscriptions (Shape, Self, etc.).
