December Points Challege!

  • I am so excited for a new month I just couldn't wait to post goals for this challege!

    Here's how the Points Challenge (designed by Sandi of the 100 lb. Club) works: Every day, starting Dec. 1 and going until Dec. 31, you have the chance to earn 4 points doing the things we all know help with weight loss: food, exercise, and water. You get 2 points for following your own personal plan for food, 1 point for getting in your planned exercise, and 1 point for drinking the amount of water you've set as your goal. That means that a total of 124 points are possible for the month of December.

    Just post your points for each day as you go along, you can add to a previous post by editing or just post a new reply.

    Ok, I guess I'll do the same that I did last month. I'm trying to think of something I really want to work on that I could use but the only thing I can think of is cleaner eating and I know I probably won't do that this month at least...*hehe*...So:

    1 point=1600 calories or less
    1 point=80 ounces water
    1 point=follow exercise plan (even if it's my day off)
    1 point=fvdairy-3 servings fruit and veggies and 2 dairy a day

    December 1-4 points

    December 2-3 points! We went to a DUMB Mexican restaurant and I thought I'd be a good girl and order a taco instead of my normal burrito AND I only had 10 chips. Got home and checked the nutrition information....910 calories for a TACO! I am ticked...so as you can see...no calories points today!

    December 3-4 points-No tricky tacos around today! *hehe*

    December 4-3 points-no fvegdairy today...I didn't exercise either but that was planned so I still get my point *hehe*

    December 5-4 points? - I don't know how I managed to go out to eat (at Chili's) and have an ice cream bar and still come under calories...weird but that's my total

    December 6-bad veggie day so 3 points

    December 7-I was under calories and that's about it (barely too...1546)

    December 8-2 points-water and fvdairy

    December 9-1 point-water

    December 10-1 point-exercise

    December 11-1 water

    December 12-3 points, exercise, water, fvdairy

    December 13-3 points-NO exercise but I did stay on my calories

    December 14-1 point-water

    I don't know what my deal is but I can't seem to stay on plan anymore. I'm going to go easy on myself this month but starting in January I'm going to keep it back up. I just want to MAINTAIN until then.

  • I'm late! It's ok I can use FitDay to get my information.... I'm not going to do so good this month as I'll be spending a week visiting family but it should keep me on track in the meantime!
