MP3 Players

  • I was thinking about asking for one for my birthday and I hope you don't mind but I was wondering what kind you have, how many songs it holds and where you got it. I don't want my husband to spend a bunch of money on one, but I want to get my moneys worth. Thanks for any advice.

  • My fiance got me an ipod mini last year. It holds 1000 songs, but I have never filled it past 600, every time I find new songs I erase some songs off that I can't for the life of me why I like it! I love that I can make playlists on it! It's the best gift I've ever gotten actually!
  • I got myself a 60 GB photo ipod after getting my lover a 40GB ipod a year earlier for his birthday.

Mine hold PLENTY of songs, i have yet to fill it all the way up and i have a HUGE collection. I would recommend going with an older model ipod that they are still trying to get rid of ... they are now abou 50-100 dollars cheaper. Try macmall.com ....
  • I have an ipod shuffle - about $100 bucks - holds a couple hundred songs (more than I'd ever need). I like it.
  • A couple hundred songs is A LOT!!! Plenty. I have a regular ipod and it holds like a week or more worth of songs! I have been filling it up for a year now and still have it at only like 10% capacity.
Also, my old mp3 was a rio (about $60 i think) which was good because it has chips that you can change. So though a chip can only hold 2-6+ hrs, you can have a bunch of chips and change them in and out of the player.
  • There's an Ipod Nano from my fiance waiting under the christmas tree for me. I've never had an Ipod so it's glad to hear that so many people love theirs.
  • Thanks everyone, I really appreciate your replies. This helps a lot.
