Default Another "Newbie" here...

So, I am 24 (25 in August) and decided at the beginning of this year that it was time to do something about my weight. I have been "lurking" at this site for awhile now, but finally decided to post. I started exercising and watching what i eat in January (2005) and have actually lost 13 pounds, but still have a ways to go yet. I am engaged to a wonderful guy and the mother of a 6 year old daughter. I just thought I would introduce myself to you all, since you all seem so friendly and supportive! Any suggestions welcome! Thanks!

Hello & Welcome!

I'm pretty new myself. I love these forums and I've found that they really help keep me on track.

As far as my long term goals, i would like to get back down to a size 12 (pants), that is what i was after i had my daughter...my fiancee spoiled me and in turn made me fat! Ha. I like to tease him about that. I was exercising almost every night for anywhere from 40 minutes to 60 minutes, and then weights every other day. I was using an elliptical machine and a treadmill (both of which are collecting dust in my basement), but have kind of slacked off the last few weeks since my daughter has been out of school. Will be starting that again on monday. No more excuses. I just kind of watch what i eat as well. Thanks!
