favorite splurge...

  • What is the one thing that you won't give up entirely in your diet? - I know all about moderation and that no one should really eliminate things they like entirely,blah blah blah. This is just supposed to be a fun question.
    Also, what have been your best substitions??
    I love chocolate, so I keep on hand a dark choclate bar, and when I really crave chocolate, I have just one square. Also, I love cake and I remember once when I ate a whole cake in 48 hours, now I will go to a good bakery and buy one pretty cupcake as a treat every now and then.
    I really don't have any good substitutions.
  • Chocolate and ice cream.....but of course in moderation now. Lately it's been sorbet over other kinds. I just love milk chocolate, but I am developing a taste for dark...I know it's better for you
  • Ooooh I love chocolate too and FRIES! Yummy! I get great ones from the kebab shop down the road (I'll miss it soooo much when we move! ) but I used to have fries you bake in the oven ALL the time, but now I just have some kebab shop fries every month or so and it keeps the junk level down!

    I LOVE cake too, and doughnuts, but they don't love me! Doughnuts hurt my tummy! I have a hot chocolate when I'm craving chocolate, with marshmallows on the top!
  • crackers and gouda cheese...I love cheese, but try and only get it as a treat, maybe I did really well exercising all week, or got a raise. Makes it a treat!
  • I have one free meal a week where I let myself eat whatever I want, so I dont ever feel *too* deprived.

    But the one thing I could NEVER give up is a chicken, black bean and mushroom quesadilla at this restaurant called Moe's Southwestern Grill. My fiance and I should seriously buy stock in this restaurant because in the past we've been known to go there 4x a week!! eep. Anyways I always eat that (and some red white and blue tortilla chips) as my one meal a week. mmmm.

    for chocolate cravings regular fat Silk Chocolate Soymilk REALLY hits the spot for me. It's so creamy, and chocolatey, I have one small glass whenever my sweet tooth is really killing me. OR I've found South Beach cereal bars in double chocolate- YUMM! And they're SO filling- 140 cals!
  • im on atkins, and in the induction phase, so I can't have any of my weakness...pizza...my weakness isn't all pizza, but this place down the street called Winner's has the BEST pizza I have ever had...I'm so scared of what might happen if my bf decides to order it...i think ill ask him to get a medium so that he can eat most of it...i was also thinking maybe i could get away with eating the sauce and cheese but no bread? but I'm not sure what the sugar content in their sauce is sooo i dunno
  • Can anyone scream ICE CREAM?!?!? My god, I'm obsessed. I love it.
  • Ice cream here as well...mmm with peanut butter sauce on top. But the best was maple soft serve in Vermont and we can't get it here. Waaah!
  • chocolate, I will defenatly use up any points for a good piece of dark chocolate. nothing beats it. I try to either buy the small bar or a bar I can easily break in to smaller pieces but it has to be rich and dark.
