Default Super-Spooky Halloween Challenge

Do I smell a challenge coming up? Halloween is exactly 7 weeks away ladies. Want to look especially cute in your costume? Then join us! Set any kind of goal, stick with, check back often and see how well you can stick to it!

My challenge goal will be to lose 13 lbs. (ooooh.... lucky number 13) from wherever I am when I weigh in tomorrow morning. I'm aiming pretty high because I have a feeling I've got some "water weight" to lose and that's going to add a couple of "easy" pounds.

I'm in!!! My goal will be to lose 15lbs by Halloween! Means I will have to cut out the Halloween Candy! But instead of looking scary in my costume, I want to look super-cute!!!

Hey there everyone. I have not been posting too much on the forums but I have a buddy that I do a weekly weigh in with. I am 20 years old and thought that it would be nice to have more support to keep me on track. My goal is going to be that I want to weigh 155 by halloween, that will be around 11 pounds and I am losing weight slowly and have not been exercising like I should, so I am going to get on it.

Thanks, I am really excited to think about the fact that I could be there Halloween!

Hi Tye - welcome - 11 lbs. sounds a challenging goal - but I know you can do it if you keep on track and kick up the exercise.
So I weighed in today on my new scale. YIKES! 184.5, so I want to be at 171.5 by Halloween!
Here's how I'm gonna do it:
(just like before)

1200-1600 calories/day
2-3 L's of water/day
300 minutes (5 hours) of exercise/week
and a positive attitude

Jenicra-I really like your plan for getting to your goal weight and I think that I am going to adopt something close to that. I really want to add more fruit and veggies into my diet over the next 7 weeks too...I think that the healthy snacking like that will help keep me satisfied and keep the calorie intake down

Good morning everyone!!! How is everyone's goals going? An update for me, I weighed in this morning and am already 5lbs closer to my Halloween weight of 260. I hope everyone else is doing as well!!!!

A third of the way there already, Samantha? You keep that up and you're going to need to reset that goal LOWER in a few weeks!

My first two days back on plan have been going okay, but the nighttime has been REALLY hard. I want, I want, I want... yummy foods. But I have not and will not cave in! Even when the dh (who is also on a reduced-cal diet, on which btw, he is allowed 3000 cals./day! I couldn't be more jealous! That's what you get for being a giant I guess! ) is eating a bowl of super-good vanilla ice cream in front of me. I didn't even sneak one bite! And to his credit, he didn't even ask me if I wanted one.

Jenicra - Congrats on the will power! That is something that I am sure we can all relate too. My husband is kind of on this diet with me, though he doesn't have to lose quite as much as I do! He only really needs to lose about 20-25 lbs to be at his goal weight.
One of the biggest motivations so far for me came this morning when my husband and I jumped on the scale again, and the look on his face when he saw that I had lost another 5lbs!! He was so proud of me! That really got me going again. You may have heard this saying before, but it something I say to myself again and again all day long: Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.

You can do it!!!!

I'm so in on this one. We actually just started a bet at work as to who can lose the most weight by January to give all the girls in my office a little motivation, so this will give me a kick start. I would like to be down to 180 by halloween so that's 12 pounds. Totally doable, right?

Hi guys! Can I get in on this?? LOL I have been trying my butt off for a ten pound total loss by September 30th, so maybe I can tack on an extra five pounds to be gone by Halloween! This is a great challenge... setting up the will power to continue with the weight loss through out the Holidays. Thanksgiving won't be that far behind it! Then Christmas... New Years! YIkes! I'm really gonna need all the motivation and pep talks I can get, but right now I'll just focus on the Halloween challenge LOL. Good Luck To Everyone! May we all become LOSERS!!!!!!!!!

yo... i don't usually "do" challenges (time limits scare the ish out of me), but i will set a small goal for myself for halloween (mostly because tye did and shes my buddy) sooo i weigh 155 now and i would like to be in the 140's by halloween. yay!

Hey. Maybe I just need a challenge to motivate me... I know it's small, but I want to weigh 158 on Halloween. I weighed myself tonight, and I'm 163, that's with some pj pants/t shirt on. So, really I'm slightly less than that, so, according to the scale I have lost, but according to my body squeeeezzzing into my jeans today I'm not. But of course, TOM, so water weight, blah blah blah. Enough of my rambling. 158. That's it. I'm telling you!

Hi!!

I'm new here.
I'm so determined to lose weight. I lost weight about 1 1/2 years ago (about 25 lbs), and gained back a couple over the summer . Lately I've been going the gym doing kick boxing and step classes, and also doing core strenghening and weights for my arms.

I'd really like to join this challenge if I could. I'm in high gear now, but I want to keep up with it!

I'd like to lose 6 pounds by Halloween!

I'm 23 BTW.
