May Day! May Day! That's right - 4 weeks/30 days. What do you want to lose in that amount of time?

OK - my May Day Challenge is to enter the 180's - and lose 2 lbs. per wk., which would put me at 189.

My Day Challenge will be to lose 8 lbs, down to 162, this is being VERY optimistic, but we'll see. I want to do cardio at least a half an hour 5 days a week, strenghth training for an hour 3 times a week and no eating after 7pm. And of course, drink plenty of water. Good luck to Everyone!!

OK. I might be a little bit optimistic here, but I'd like to lose seven pounds to get to 169.5. (Hopefully, I'm still at 176.5 now. I'll check on Monday.)

Hi - I would love to join your challenge. Today I am at 180.5 and my goal by May 1 will me 175 lbs. I can do 5.5 lbs in one month!
I was just wondering what plans you all are using? I am on "Krista's Plan" because it is the only one that ever works for me. Excersize at least 5 times a week and eat between 1200 - 1800 calories and LOTS of water. I also journal my food intake and excersize at Fitday to help me keep track.

OK, I weighed this morning & essentially stayed the same. But, I had a heavy meal on our date last night, so will probably double-check tomorrow morning. We'll see!
Anyway, saying I'm still at 168 right now--I'm going to go ahead & make an ambitious goal of being to 160 by May Day! That's 8 lbs--I haven't done that in awhile, but I haven't given it my all since Christmas, either. I must have a really focused month in order to reach this goal. I've done it before, so I know I can do it again! Here I go!!!

I'm going to lose 5 pounds by May 1st. Every time I've ever lost weight, I've gotten stuck in the 150's for months. Once I hit 149 I feel a lot more motivated and weight comes off quicker. I realize that I'm not going to hit my goal of 125-130 by my birthday in August, but I'd like to be at 140 by then. I think my size 8's will fit again then, the 6's will just have to wait until next summer. :cool:

Can I join in late? I am at 156 as of this morning and would love to see 152 which is 4lbs in 3 weeks. I can hopefully do that. 150 or even 149 would be even better but I don't want to be too optimistic! btw I also live in South Dakota

Ok, I'm joining late. May Day is only 3 weeks away. I want to lose 6 pounds by then. That will put me at 149 - the land of the 140s. 2 pounds a week isn't THAT optimistic - right?

Hey Everyone! I wish i would of known about the 20 somethings section earlier! Its already 2 weeks into april. Let me see, i already have a short term goal made, so for may day lets make it..umm....176! lol, one pound less than my current goal, but hey, isnt it the little things that count? Have a nice day ladies and happy dieting too :cb:

Well I am still at 156 which was when I joined the goal. I was 154.5 monday though. i weigh mon and fri and always weigh about 1.5 or more less on Monday.. you'd think after a weekend of not exercising and eating more would make you gain. strange..
