Danielle, my husband & I spent a great Valentine's weekend in Asheville last month. Such a neat city--we really enjoyed it! What do you like about it? I imagine living there, you might get sick of the tourist-centered-ness of it?!?!!?

Well there is nothing really to do here. Expect go to the clubs. Which I am not really intersed into. I do like to go to Grove Park and sometime me and my boyfriend walk down town. But other than that there is nothing really to do. What did you do when you were here?

Well, I guess we did some of the usual "tourist" things....we'd been to the Biltmore before, though, so skipped that. We enjoyed walking around downtown, cute shops/restaurants, etc....though it was a bit chilly that weekend. By Grove Park, do you mean eating at the restaurant there at the Inn, or is there an actual park? We didn't get to that when we were there.
It was actually kinda rainy & crappy that weekend, so we did shop at the mall, see a movie matinee....you know, regular stuff you can do anywhere. (-; It was fun & relaxing though!

Grove Park in the big motel in Asheville. It's really expecive. They have all kinds of cool stuff up there during all times of the year. This past Christmas they had Christmas Trees that were decrated all kinds of diffent ways and they also had Gingerbed Houses too It was pretty cool.
