Default Only Raw Food

I have just been gaining, gaining, gaining! I'm extremely stressed, and when something goes wrong all i want to do is EAT! So a friend of mine started only eating raw food, and she looks great! I was thinking of doing this. Has anyone else done this? I'm wondering what the benefits are.

I did this and went sans carbs and meat too. Basically just anything in raw form. So I did eat shrimp cocktail.
To be honest after three days I felt physically I'll and after five days I stopped because I felt weak and nauseous all day long.
If you also had carbs it might not be so bad- my body needed substance and bad.
Every body is different so you could try it- just listen to your body and stop if you feel sick

Over the summer I went to a raw restaurant and I loved it! I don't know if I could do it every day all day. But, man, it felt good to know everything was healthy and good for you. You may want to go to a book store or a library and look at raw recipe books. If its hard you wont succeed and then you will be pis*ed at yourself even more.

Raw food is awesome. Try and get some cooked veggies in from time to time though because some of the nutrients in veggies are only present in cooking.

Shrimp cocktail is not usually raw... if you ate raw shrimp you would significantly increase your risk of food-borne illness. No wonder you felt sick.

Raw food is really great and creative I don't eat raw but anytime I want something "naughty" I'll make a raw slice or some raw brownies. It's a good way to have treats that are healthier than normal.

Check out Average Joe on the Raw! It's such an informative documentary. Also check out choosingraw.com. She is amazing.

As for eating raw and then getting sick: not surprising. It's like caffeine withdrawals.

I wouldn't be able to stay on raw food for more than 1 day. But different things work for different people!

Hope you find what works for you
