jogging NSV

  • I dont post here much but I had a huge NSV I want to share! Yesterday I ran (well jogged) 10 minutes without getting winded! This is a new record for me! Usually I cant go more than 6 minutes. The thing was I kept it at a slower pace, focused on my breathing and pushed through the resting to cardio heart rate challenge I get. I jogged .75 of a mile at 3.8 on the tredmill! I couldnt wait to tell my husband. Im training to begin roller derby in the summer but im really out of shape right now. My husbands in the Army and he said hed.workout with me and train me. Im pretty excited and I told him hes not allowed to go easy on me!

    What is this challenge? I am rocking out my treadmill these days and would love something a bit more challenging. I have been doing a Couch 2 5 k app program and find myself finishing the day and then staying on for 10 or 15 more minutes just cause I am not totally pooped. I wanna jog for 10 whole minutes!! I wanna roller derby!!!
