Blew it this weekend :(

  • AHHDFJDFDFJ I didn't overeat... but I didn't workout a lot and I had drinks with friends so I gained a pound or two... really sad this happened but back to the grind tomorrow and I am hitting the gym tonight
  • Those two pounds will probably come back off pretty soon if you stay on plan, and having drinks with friends every once in a while is important to your mental health. Don't sweat it Kudos to you for using it as motivation to work out, though. I don't have that kind of discipline!
  • Aw weekends are always my downfall, then I spend the first two days of the week trying to reach Fridays weight. Back to it tomorrow for sure! I did do extra cardio yesterday and going to have to push again today.
  • weekends are my downfall too. I've tried to do a better job at coming up with fun activities to do with friends on the weekend that are more active so that it doesn't just default back to "let's go get brunch and sit around drinking all afternoon!"

But I agree with Lauren, drinks with friends are important every so often. Don't beat yourself up over it.
  • Girl, you didn't blow anything. You're allowed to have fun over the weekend! You're even allowed to gain some weight. You are already in the right mindset of getting back to it. You'll lose that extra weight in no time!
  • I made southern mac and cheese and brought some for lunch today. I suck too.
  • Tomorrow is a new day to make better choices
  • Weekends are so hard for me too! We all just need to keep at it!
  • Amen to all the comments above! You will recover quickly (when I have an off day, yeah sure the scale goes up the next day, but QUICKLY comes back down if I go right back to plan). Just get back on plan
  • The fact that you didn't overeat puts you ahead of the game for most people. As stated above, weekends are the downfall for many people. Not only do they not work out, they also over eat. I FAIL on weekends.

However, I've learned that "failing" on weekends is actually what motivates me to do my best throughout the week and it keeps me sane. If I had to be perfect 7 days a week, I would not be where I am today.
