Easter Challenge
Hi Everyone! I noticed a few challenges going on but didn't see a short term one for Easter! Lent started on Wednesday so I think now is a great time! What is your Easter goal? I want to lose 5 pounds :) Anyone in?

I'm totally in!!! My goal would be to reach my first goal of Onederland which is 25lbs. Seems like a LOT but I did just have my 3rd and final baby so the first bit will come off a bit easier then usual. I will totally be happy if I lose 15lbs though. I just bought an elliptical since I can't do strenuous excercise yet due to my C-section and tubal. I'm sooo ready to rock this challenge:)

Ooh...I'm definitely in!!! By Easter, I would like to be down into the 160's. 169.9 would be fantastic ;) LOL

I'll go with it as well. I want to be down at least one pants size by easter :-) I think that'd be awesome! I've found that for me, tracking weight can be tricky since I am lifting weights. Muscle weighs more than fat therefore I can be losing fat and inches and not lose pounds! So one or more pants sizes by easter!!!

Well if we're doing it until Easter Sunday which is the 8th, I think a weekly weigh in on Sunday makes sense. What does everyone think?

I am in! I gave up caffeine for lent and am finally mostly through the withdrawal. I hope I can pick up normal eating again too. My goal is to get below 128lbs. (I am 136 right now due to bad eating, but hope in reality it's 132 still.. haha)

I know that I am nearly a week late, but I'd like to join too!
For Lent I'm giving up chocolate and I am hoping to move off this damn plateau (but stuck since December!). SW: 159 (TOM, was 156) GW: 151 |
I'm in! It's perfect timing actually...I leave for Hawaii 2 days after Easter. I would love to be in the 130s by then. Feb has been a rough month so I'm hoping the scale will be nicer in March :)

Princess- I have 3 boys and they are amazing! But now its time to officially work on me:) I researched everything within my budget ($1000) and ended up trying them out in the store and liked the Horizon EX-59 which I printed a 20% off coupon and paid less then 540 including the mat! I just did 3 miles on it and am feeling accomplished since the other day I couldn't even do 10 minutes. I hope the weight starts falling off! Let's do this

How is everyones week going?

So yesterday was super crazy and end of story I didn't feel well and didn't stay so much on track. Today was a MUCH better day and I stayed completely on plan AND did 3 miles on my elliptical. ALso I avoided the temptation to stand on the scale, trying to wait until Sunday to weigh myself and hopefully I will like what I see:). How is everyone else coming along?

I've been sick the past few days too. Got a 3 mile jog in today but after I was just DONE...Went back up to 185.4...always have a gain when I get sick so no biggie |
Yeah I'm not feeling so well today but I got in some pilates this morning. Lost another 0.5kg/1lb so far, but not sure how I'm gonna go as I'm coming up to my TOM! Good luck for tomorrow everyone :)

My weight is at a standstill still sadly. I've had a weird TOM (8 days late, massive bloating, bad cramps... fun times) but I'm sitting on 157... so I'm hoping that as TOM finishes, I may get a downward movement finally. I've been moving between 159 and 156 for 3 months now.
Exercise wise, I've done really well this week. I moved up the weight that I'm lifting (am 8 weeks into weight lifting, moved from 3kg weights to 5kg!) and have just started the Bridge to 10K program again. So yesterday I ran 3 17 min intervals. Didn't run the fastest ever, but I completed the intervals, and that's my main aim. Hope everyone is having a lovely week =) |
I'm vowing not to get on the scale until this weekend. I'm getting obsessed again. I didn't do so well yesterday and already today I'm at my calorie limit. I can go up another 200 because I think 1380 is too low for me. I prefer 1500. I still need to go workout- I will probably do that this evening. I started running and taking spin again :)

My weight was up and not really budging earlier this week, but TOM started today and hopefully that means the scale will start going down again soon!
We will see! I am flying out Friday night to visit my sister and my nephews in Oklahoma for a couple days, so I will probably go by my Friday weight for this week. Hope that's ok! |
Princess- sometimes I find fluctuating my caloric intake works out better as long as they are healthy choices. Also I hope you got your workout in tonight:) I know I got mine and I was sweating like a pig!! Chele-have fun visiting your nephews and you can weigh in whenever you'd like:) its all about the end result and meeting our goals anyway.
As for myself, I stayed within my eating plan AND scrubbed my kitchen and bathroom down, did some laundry, and made a huge grocery trip tonight. Which I followed with my 3 miles on the elliptical. My legs are still burning! I am also a scale addict and have managed to stay off of it for a few days now so I'm hoping it'll say what I want it to come weigh in time! |

I stepped on the scale today and I'm not happy with it! I had randomly lost 2 pounds earlier in the week and most of it's back. I've had too much salt this week and eating the calories I've worked off. I need to get some more protein with these workouts. Tomorrow I'm making a protein shake for breakfast to help get a bit more in! momof3preemies- Welcome!! |

I did get my workout in! I also got one in today too :) I went to spin again and my legs still hurt from this morning! Maybe keeping the calories a bit higher the last few days and dropping them again tomorrow a bit will help! |
Princess- I don't really calorie count, I try to stay between 1200-1500 but mostly follow the South Beach Diet. I made some taco "soup" for dinner and boy is it delish!! Hoping my legs aren't too pooped to get my workout in tonight!

We finally had some snow here in New England and had a snow day today...meaning no gym time :( There was one point where I was contemplating going to the gym since it's on the main road in town, but then the snow picked up again so it was a no go. But I did spend some of the afternoon catching up on my dvr'd shows and packing for tomorrow's trip to Oklahoma. Overall, it was a nice relaxing day!

Got some pilates in this morning so feeling good for that! Weight isn't really doing much at the moment (but not going up and that's the main thing!). Goal is to make sure I stay active on the weekend and don't get lazy!!

I would like to join in :) My birthday is April 26th. and I want to be 199 and I am 215 now so my easter goal is 12 pounds!! I know I CAN do this!
