I just entered the 190s- I'm 198 as of yesterday, down from a high of 215.
And I'm ready to leave them behind already! My next goal is normal BMI, 185. |

Vixxi: congrats so seeing you go to the next thread ;) Oh yeah, a couple of questions. Do any of y'all seem to get bloated after a workout? My hands swell and I was wondering if there was any way to prevent that. Another thing, is in the morning I'm really really bloated. I HATE it. This even happens when I drink water all day and when I drink water before bed. I read that if you drink water in the morning and wait about an hour it helps, but some mornings I just don't have time. Is there anything I can do for this? |
ihavethemusicinme, thanks! I'm not too sure about the bloating or swelling. I was pretty swollen a month and a half ago but that's because I was pregnant :/ haha. Do you think it's your salt intake?
191.2 today! Still losing daily, one of the reasons I love the first phase of Atkins. I cheated and had some alcohol last night though which you aren't supposed to have until the second phase as your body will burn that before it burns any fat. I'm so close I can taste it! |

Beachlover86: I am lovin P90x! ITs fun for me and I definately see and feel a change in my body. StephanieM: You have the will power of a rock! i dont think I can do the Atkins thing! I've been watching what I eat and keeping a food journal. (trying to stay around 1500 cals a day with 1 day of 2000). For exercise, all Im doing is the p90x, my stationary bikes petal is broken, and theres 18in of snow outside (No Thank You!) but I am happy to say that I am about to complete my 5th week of p90x and including my normal diet I have lost 10 lbs... Which means... DUN DUN DUNDA....I'm out of the 190's!!!! I'm 188. Now To keep losing and not let myself gain extra weight when on vacation! Good Luck to all my fellow 190ers! If I can do it, anyone can! Great job everyone! |

Does anyone else take multiple weigh-ins when they weigh-in in the morning? Like, I'll usually weigh myself twice, back to back, to make sure I get the same reading.

I downloaded MyFitnessPal today to see exactly wtf is going on with my diet. I know it's probably sodium. I work a lot and it is at a chain bread company and I get 65% off, I know there is a lot of sodium in deli meats so I'm going to have to study the menu at work to see exactly what is the BEST idea for me to have. |
190.4 today, I'm surprised I'm still losing with the weekend I've had! I planned to cheat a little with a rye and diet coke on two nights. On Atkins they say not to drink in the first phase because you'll burn the liquor before the fat. I still lost so I thought it was no big deal.
But then my mother in law brought wine over last night and wanted to have some with us. And today we're going to a friends house for dinner and they are making a meal that's not too Atkins friendly. I'm still in ketosis today, hoping I'm still there tomorrow :S Especially sincer I'm so close to the 180's which is my goal for Valentines Day. |
UgH!!! Im so mad at myself. I have not been taking this seriously. I know what I need to do. I just dont want to do it. I need my motivation back. Only I can motivate myself. Im so close to the 180s I can taste it. Maybe Im scared of succeeding? Every time I get this close, I lose focus.

lilneezy, you are so close! What was the reason you first decided to lose weight and get healthy? Re visit that to motivate you the rest of the way. Start with small goals at first, like 2 lbs a week and how you are going to do it. Make a list of your commitments to being healthy and stick to it. It's a lifestyle change.
I'm 191.8 today, I think I'm retaining water after the weekend I had. Drank small amounts of alcohol each night, including last night when our friends had us over for dinner. I know there is no way I gained a lb and a half overnight. Gonna be good and stick to staying on plan this week. I really wanted to see the 180's by tomorrow and now I'm not sure if I'll make it. |
Hi guys! I'm thisclose to being out of the 190s. Weighed in at 190 this morning. This has been by far the hardest decade for me to get out of. I've been here since the end of December. Hopefully I'll be in the 180s tomorrow. Keep pushing everyone. We'll all be there soon :)
