Hey Everyone I'm new here I put on alot of weight with my first child and now no matter how hard I try I can't get it off. I've been working my guts out for months and dieting like a mad woman I see some loss but the number on that stupid scale will not move! My hormones at the moment are all messed up still (and also was very sick for the first year after my child was born) I have poly-cystic ovaries which i know makes you harbor some weight but this much?? Also suffer from IBD and Scoliosis Some one please HELP I have tryed everything is there something wrong with me I don't want to take the easy way out but I'm looking at surgery and I really don't want to do that because I would like to have another child and I HAVE to have a C-Section I can't have them naturally what am I doing wrong here?? :?:

Ugh, I've gained two lbs. I'm still waiting for my first post partum TOM so I may be bloating as my daughter is 5 weeks old.
I filled out my journal today so I have a place to put measurements and to log my food and activity. I start my WOE on Saturday as we are going shopping on Friday. Last time I did this diet I lost 14 lbs in a month but then I stopped because that brought me to my goal pretty much. Looking forward to doing it again since I felt great on it and didn't get low blood sugar like I usually do. |
I'll join in,just got back to the 190s last week but ready to get out! Lol... Last time the 190s were tough on me. How's everyone doing?

StephanieM: this might be a stupid question, but what is WOE? And welcome beachlover! I've been trying to get out of the 190s for a while! You can do it!!!

WOE is Way Of Eating, I think the term is used more commonly with the other low carbers.
I made a shopping list today for tomorrow and did some more reading to get myself ready for this, I did really well at it last time and I can't wait to get back to the 140's! |
UGH. 190s are killing me! Going to Las Vegas in a few weeks and dying to have something to celebrate.... like 189, maybe?!

I planned my meals all ahead of time so I will be completely on plan today :) I don't think I'll get a chance to work out though. I'm going to attempt to do something tomorrow. My husband is able to help with the baby on weekends but Saturdays are spent going to his parents for dinner and Sundays he gets his daughter so it doesn't give me a lot of time to work out. Hope everyone is doing well and seeing some losses! |
197 this morning, although I usually weigh in sat mornings but I had to go into the office. Haven't had much time to workout this week, and prob won't next either. Got work, school, studying for the LSAT which are sat, and working on Law school applications. I'll take any loss over the next couple weeks. Hows everyone else doing?

Ladies, I wasnt able to work out at all this week!! I weigh 193. However, I did eat pizza and hamburger this week. I will focus. I have 8 weeks to lose 15 pounds. By April, I WILL to be 180. I know this is very attainable with hard work and dedication.

I'm down 2 lbs since I've come back to 3fc and changed my habits. I love how easily it comes off when I first start, but know it won't be this quick later on. I'm hoping to be in the 180's by Valentines Day, which I might be able to do because the weight seems to drop quickly in the beginning.

Weighed in at 198 this morning...TOM is coming and I want to continuously eat!!!! Okay, it was 198.4....and I'm so freakin bloated!

I'm on bored with you all. I was 185 this summer and stopped counting calories (even though I worked out). By January I was 198 :( !!! I NEED to be 180 by March 7th. (This is my next trip home and would love to look smaller). If anyone could post their eating habits and daily menus on here for low carbs that would be great! Ive been doing p90x and counting calories and am down 5-6lbs (depending on the time of day). I know with each others support we can break through and then get into the "Getting out of the 180's" forum!
