  • Very interesting. I understand both sides. As long as everyone is able to stay focused and positive, losing weight will be a success.
  • I weigh daily - it motivates me every single day. If it's down, even just a tiny bit, I feel great. If it's up, I can look back and see if I did something to cause it (too much salt, etc) - and even if there's no "explanation" (that is, it's just the usual fluctuation), I just get more motivated to get it moving in the other direction.

    I'm way too impatient to weigh in only weekly!
  • I'd like to weigh daily, but seeing as I don't own a scale, I only get to check my progress maybe once a week. I walk to my mom's house, a 2 hour walk away, and use hers when I have the time. It's kind of a pain, but at least it motivates me to move my butt.
    * I don't own a car either, which also helps.. ;P
  • I used to weigh myself everyday but i think a part of me isnt "grown up enough" to allow for fluctuations hahaha i do weigh myself whenever i feel like, usually every 2-3 days but on wednesdays i do my weigh ins for challenges so i use those as the ones that 'count' and it IS nice to see a decent drop each time i weigh myself, like i feel that much happier and keeping it to every 3 days or so theres usually a difference
